Slightly off topic post but an advise here especially for guardians.

Since most PPVs don't allow video or pic anymore, before cucuk please remember to ASK the staff and VERIFY the exact volume inside the syringe - it could be half of a syringe or just a small level near the tip depend on the syringe type, but read the syringe if possible. It's all good as long as the volume is correct as above.

I read a few articles saying Sunway Medical is giving out Sinovac although they had admistered Pfizer before to health care workers during the 1st phased
What I gather is that Sunway Pyramid Convention Center is giving Pfizer and Sunway Medical is giving Sinovac

Ya I think you’re true. Pfizer is for age above 60, but now all below 60 is using Sinovac.

Don't bother with this. The vaccine supply to each PPV will change from time to time.
I got Sinovac last month at Stadium National Bukit Jalil but my brother got pfizer at the same PPV this week.

I went there this afternoon and they administer Pfizer 0.3ml. My second dose will be on 31 Jul.

Figures. If one ppv stuck with one particular vaccine, then the people who is not designated take to get those vaccines with have to travel far to get theirs

Yes. Also if certain vaccine supply finish, takkan the PPVs have to close down and wait.

At wtc they showed me 0.5ml vac in syringe before jab and empty syringe after that

Hi I have been asked to go to IDCC at Shah Alam tomorrow. Anyone know which vaccine type will there be dispensing over there ?

Is all depends on self health condition. The ppv Dr will determine which vac u gonna cucuk. List every sickness u having.

According to this list, it's Sinovac. However, PPV can switch/swap vaccine supplies on a weekly basis. So this might not be true by the time you arrive for vaccination.

in any case, I am pretty sure that you have already got your vaccination done. is it sinovec then?

Is it normal I got my PPV location 40 minutes drive from my home? Possible to change to nearer location?

Wonder why I didn't get appointment at Mid Valley when I practically live next to it.

Instead sent to go to Cheras to get my dose.

A friend of mine who lives in the condo opposite of mine got appointment at Tung Shin hospital and got Sinovac. My friend and I stay in Taman Desa. Practically 15 minutes away from Mid Valley

there should be an option that you can select if the place is too far from your current location

Sinovac stocks at the moment in most PPV's are the last batch. Full 14m doses already almost to the end of delivery. Hence remaining stocks reserve for 2nd dose. Now on can expect Pfizer for those going 1st dose.

Continue waiting then, gov might open up once we have abundance of supply and majority of population has been vaccinated.

Hope the govt will allow private GP clinics to sell Pfizer vaccs to those who want to get at own cost and choice.

Priority to let as much people to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Better allow clinics to sell vaccines since many might prefer to get jab at their own cost.

So far AstraZeneca and Pfizer only deal with top-level government as mentioned by the vaccine minister. India state government had considered to procure Moderna during the height of the outbreak but failed as Moderna also indicated that they only deal with top-level government.
