QUOTE(ajax91 @ Jul 10 2021, 08:08 PM) Don't bother with this. The vaccine supply to each PPV will change from time to time. Figures. If one ppv stuck with one particular vaccine, then the people who is not designated take to get those vaccines with have to travel far to get theirsI got Sinovac last month at Stadium National Bukit Jalil but my brother got pfizer at the same PPV this week. |

QUOTE(GAMEOVER @ Jul 12 2021, 03:01 PM) Is it normal I got my PPV location 40 minutes drive from my home? Possible to change to nearer location? Previously I also had got one in Setia Alam – I have canceled it out.there should be an option that you can select if the place is too far from your current location |

I still couldn't wrap my head around - why the type of vaccines matter so much to a lot of people? at the end of the day it's the protection that counts.
Adverse effect is something to be taken into account - but I think Malaysia has not seen any death as a result of administering the vaccines This post has been edited by sol_badguy: Jul 14 2021, 12:36 PM |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jul 14 2021, 12:37 PM) https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/covid-19/info-...age-summary.pdf The shelf life will start to deteriorate once the vaccines are been placed in a temperature and humidity that is outside of the operating temperature.i think the very low temperature part is only important during transportation phase If for example the vaccines are being placed in room temperature condition - then they have to be used within a couple of hours |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jul 14 2021, 12:57 PM) yeah but I believe most clinic should have a suitable refrigerator for proper storage up to 30 days. as long people are coming in for shots everyday it shouldn't be a problem and no vaccine will go to waste I believe if it's Pfizer - in which the operating temperature norms is within -60 Celcius , once they are been stored in the refrigerator it will last for around 5 daysI think that's why the government opt for sinovac - much easier to be transported and stored and administered to the general public |

QUOTE(Princess_Alicia @ Jul 15 2021, 12:45 AM) I plan to bring along all my medical documents with me during the vaccination session. Yes, I want a second opinion from the vaccine center. Worst scenario I go home and wait again. Maybe as a preliminary, you can google for "contraindication for ............." , "contraindication for pzifer vaccine" etc |

Any change in the type of vaccine administered at hospital putrajaya? Still sinovac and Pfizer right?
