don't put too much hope they will allow for walk in after 1/8 because the statistic from DOSM said that there are 6.1M adult in Klang Valley but the registration has exceeded 6.3M!

better dont allow walk in for now. whoever has registered, must be given an appointment. walk in only for specific PPVs and only for those who cannot register because of no I/D. or else more and more people from other states will influx KV and spread the covid further.

Sorry but I do not work at Vision Diagnostic.. so I cannot provide you with any accurate information pertaining the future programs..

What I can tell you is that last Saturday 31st July, they offered sign up for one day only (1st Aug) for vaccination for those of us who have yet to receive 1st dose and MySejahtera needs to show status of eligible (not the one with cancelled appointment or have an upcoming appointment). We filled up Google Sheet, and appointment was set up on our MySejahtera app... But this program is only 1 day only so don't know if they will have any more of such program in the future. For full details and announcement of possible future offer, please follow https://www.facebook.com/SonoGalaxy. Again, no promise that such program will be offered in the future and even if it does, no guarantee that it will be Pfizer. How I do my research is check on the Instagram Photo Booth that was recently taken see its the hashtag of the type of vaccine they used. Best of luck to you all

most likely there is no more like this since protecthealth cut them off since 2/8.

Guys,
Took pfizer first jab last Sunday. Until now still feel chest and heart area intermittent throbbing and slight discomfort.

Anyone felt the same? Currently discounting it as not warranting a doctor visit hoping it will go away on its own.
*
get it check bcs it is an uncommon side effect.

not trying to scare you but better to take precautions than be sorry later. could be myocarditis/pericarditis: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/v...yocarditis.html

I am also wondering, gov buy 16 Million doses Sinovac, should cover around 25% of Malaysia population, now almost 50% of the population in Malaysia with 1 doses, assume that half of them got Sinovac, so 25% is done. But still everywhere Sinovac ... They actually buy more than 16 Millions doses from Pharma??  hmm.gif
*
Federal Govt bought 14.4M. Selangor under Selvax bought 2.5M. China donated 500K.

Sources:

1. 14.4M doses of Sinovac completed: https://twitter.com/JKJAVMY/status/1422054931872186369
2. S'ngor bought 2.5M: https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/584251
2. China donated 500K: https://twitter.com/JKJAVMY/status/1420216752080756742?s=20

As of 28/7, M'sia has received 26,383,670 doses (donation included). If the Federal govt has 14.9M doses of Sinovac + 2,412,300 of AZ, meaning only about 10M are Pfizer which is just enough to inoculate 7M people?

It is not hard to understand that the issue is the supply. So if you want fast, just get whatever is available. Not only Msia has this supply issue with mrna vaccines but other countries like Korea, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand as well. The government cannot just wait for these mrna vaccines. There are so many other people willing to take any vaccine to be protected against covid. Anyway, this is already out of topic, everyone has preferences, just keep sharing your sources on how to get a vaccine of your choice.

Ya understand the supply issue. But just curious why minister still make the announcement stated no more Sinovac for 1st dose from mid July onwards.

So that announcement itself is a fake news. Now Sinovac is everywhere, so shouldn’t have that announcement in the first place which make us confuse as the current situation is totally different from what they announced.

Without making that announcement, the vaccination program can still progress as usual where the PPV will just give whatever they have. That announcement really caused unnecessary misleading.

I’m not saying which brand is better. But everyone have their own preferences. When government announced no more Sinovac, those looking for Sinovac really felt upset at that time. And those Pfizer hunters are so excited as it seems like easier to get what they want.

That’s what I don’t understand why government give that misleading announcement in the first place if the actual situation is totally different.

I believe it's not really a fake news. The letter was leaked before the announcement of Operation Surge Capacity. When they decided to do OSC, they need to buy more Sinovac. If they follow the original plan, more people will receive pfizer in August and September because about 20M doses will arrive between Aug and Sept.

This was the target before OSC:

KJ annouced that he will upload the data on the distribution of vaccines to the states in the github. I'll wait for that to see how they distribute the vaccines. Personally, I think they have almost an equal distribution of pfizer in other states and Klang Valley but since there are more residents in the KV, the portion for KV seems to be small though the number of supply is about the same.

🤣😂😅

Yet some of these fellows says...
Oh cannot Sinovac... Not recognize by home country 🤣
Thus we needed Pfizer 😁
*
whoever gives that excuse to request only a specific brand of vaccine is so lame. It's not like your home country prevents you from returning home if you're not vaccinated here. just return to your home country and get jab there la.

won't get RED cross if miss the appointment and allow to walk in to any PPV the next day?
*
after reading here and there, I found that PPV can manually clear the red X. if they said can't, either they don't know how or the staff is lazy especially if they are many people.
