After the end trial period, the speed will automatically back to your original speed.

You will get charged the package price of 800Mbps if you inform TM that you want to continue with the 800 Mbps speed after the trial period.
*
Strange thing is I 'm still not sure if this is some trial or not. Assuming the 800Mbps plan is RX-800 and TX-200, only my upload speed matches that, while my download speed peaks around ~600Mbps. confused.gif

No call or text informing me of any trial, and I don't even remember what email I used to register all those years ago (probably Lavabit, which closed down after the Snowden thing), so not sure if they tried emailing me anything.

LOL what the hell TM. Now it's totally unusable.

Yeah, I suspected today would be bad based on what happened to me in the afternoon. I checked their @helpmeunifi twitter and now they very smart trying to resolve complaints via DM instead of having discussion out in the open, in order to prevent their problem from trending.

As for me, rescued by VPN's Australia server again. On days like this confirm HK and JP also bad, don't even need to try. Just switch straight to that country where everyone speaks in an annoying accent, since they rely on a separate cable. laugh.gif

Ah, the good old TM "network optimization" again.

Better go prepare buckets. Confirm vomit blood next few days.

Still have some segment haven't fix yet.

Some of the TM's US West link (NTT, Arelion) already up according to traceroute data.

Edit: seems down for sometime

This one feel like we can never win. When some sites fast, other sites will suffer. Then if switch IP prefix, the situation terbalik. Then after a few days, everything will reset and we have to play IP prefix jackpot game again. bangwall.gif

each prefix have different limit of throughput. if majority going to the same destination within the limit of course will congested.

imagine their international link 100G port shared among so many users whistling.gif

I don't see other ISPs have this problem or as serious as this. Either it's forcing its entitled monopoly privilege in the market or it's run by greedy useless management that wants a marketshare that they can't handle.
US and Japan dealt with similar TM problem by breaking their monopoly AT&T/Bell and NTT into many smaller subsidiaries/separate companies to make them more manageable.

Lol it got to point that I have to enable VPN all the time just to browse and play games, this is ridiculous.

Seems like regardless of IP range I try have the same problem. 175, 115, 60(this one is bullshit, can't even use Anydesk with this) 1.32.x.x which was superb before, not anymore. sad.gif

bcos TM keep delay or not going to expand their upstream capacity.

and keep relaying on single submarine cable on international link... whilst others capacity upstream they have are only have smaller port speed and there no balancing on each upstream capacity.

when these submarine cable have issue.. whole TM connectivity to international link become suck.

Maybe this is the new SOP to get better deal from TM now. Call them and say you want to terminate. When they ask why, you say want to switch to Maxis. Then wait for them to call you back with counter offer. brows.gif

Of course, even if successful and you get good price, they'll probably make you sign new 2yr contract, so... dry.gif

For difference of RM20 like that don't look back you have better peace of mind. What is the use of 300M when you only will be given private IP, lousy international connectivity and lots of congestion issues.

Everyday also you hear people complain Reddit slow, Youtube slow, that slow.

My office got both Unifi and Time. Both like day and night difference.
