Nothing, just normal F5. tongue.gif

Taobao got a very constant event to grab stuff at 1AM, if that time got lag, very easy to spot on.
Normally it take offset -0.5s, which means reload at 00.59.59.5s, get the button loaded and submit before 01.00.01s

After the undersea fiber cut off, it become 59.3s.
This month, 59.0s
Today midnight, 57.0-59.0s

Now 9 AM, 59.0-59.5s.
Because at 1 AM, normally QoS have return normal, so it is also one of good timing for testing network.
So during that time, if high latency and little bit jitter, means just starting getting bad.
If high latency with high jitter, means start packet dropping, it can be MY to HK, or HK to Mainland.

The worst?
Whole API hang, until you reload, caused by HK to Mainland hang, old bug since 10 years ago, can be facing on any website.
If F5 fixed it, means CDN server to main server, if F5 will hang, means MY to CDN server.

When this issues return normal, then undersea fiber fixed, the old worst is QQ disconnect and fail to sync message, but Tencent have Asian server running now, so can't test already, what's left the the QQ chat pic that still hosting on HK. laugh.gif
Anyways, the best timing to test UniFi QoS is during 10 AM - 12 PM and 7 PM - 1 AM.
If QoS kick in on morning, then it means undersea fiber hurt very bad.
If QoS kick in on night, then it means still acceptable, like now, always kick in during 7 PM.

----
So far Lazada App also affected, but it seem like it is server side issues + App design, not MY to SG connection issues, because the lag happen when the homepage module failed to obtain from server, but not when it is working fine.

if you can ask TM provide you CN2 would be the best.

since TM have 2x1G port with CT CN2 in HK wink.gif

Always miss the first moment using UniFi 30M, wow at the QoS, the speed, and P2P!!
(Not saying some running P2P, bite all the upload and make all people hang, and need to explain what's P2P... doh.gif )

All thing fast, public IP, no QoS of 480kbps on Google, IPv6, only WiFi 2.4 Ghz interference and crappy router issues. tongue.gif
---
For that CN2, all people want it, including my friend at China, best for steam gaming. brows.gif
But nah, I don't think I have the resource asking for CN2, not event Public IPv4. laugh.gif

I thought the submarine cable to HK/JP already fixed, I'm not seeing any improvement thought, keep having such high packet loss to JP servers. Is this TM issue?

ASE also not fixed. (ASE is the one of the main pipe for TM which Cahaya Malaysia own 1/3 ownership of the ASE cable that can provide up to 5 terabits for malaysia usage.)
Estimated fixed time will be near May. (new cable break point detected near Malaysia on February)

I just got a 1.32.xxx.xx IP prefix for my connection. Is this a new pool? Never got it before.

Previously was using the "good" 60.53.xxx.xx but dunno what happened when I was out and returned home to find out I was on 210.xxx.xxx.xx and as usual, connection to SG-M247 VPN went to sh*t. Switched around with router, 115.xxx.xxx.xx or 147.xxx.xxx.xx all koyak. bangwall.gif

After 20 minutes disconnect/reconnect, arrived at this 1.32.xxx.xx and my connection is blazing shocking.gif

Connection: UniFi 500 // Location: JB

Straight TM. First time seeing speeds exceed my connection by so much...

VPN: Mullvad/SG-M247. Lower download can be down to VPN server load, but upload still double?! Did UniFi increase TX limit for the 500 plan? hmm.gif

Still don't know what will happen at night time peak hours though. Crossing fingers sweat.gif

not new... been using this range before this.

different ip range prefix have different routing for ingress traffic back to TM.

you can see the different through your previous ip range via MTR.

either Equinix SG or HE.net SG for now.

After the end trial period, the speed will automatically back to your original speed.

You will get charged the package price of 800Mbps if you inform TM that you want to continue with the 800 Mbps speed after the trial period.

TM have messed up their network routing, it is getting worse now. Their network engineers messed up something I think. Other ISP such as Time have no issue like this.

Complaining to TM goes fall on deaf ears. Internet speed, ping and jitter to international servers is worse especially during peak hours.
