My condo infra fully covered by TIME network. I won't be using TM lame Last Generation network(LGN) anytime soon.

Higher wholesale pricing compared to TIME/Allo which also allows other ISPs to use their network for home fibre plans, still using lame old manual PPPoE, adopts lossy double bloat speed capping,

I don't see other ISPs have this problem or as serious as this. Either it's forcing its entitled monopoly privilege in the market or it's run by greedy useless management that wants a marketshare that they can't handle.
US and Japan dealt with similar TM problem by breaking their monopoly AT&T/Bell and NTT into many smaller subsidiaries/separate companies to make them more manageable.

For difference of RM20 like that don't look back you have better peace of mind. What is the use of 300M when you only will be given private IP, lousy international connectivity and lots of congestion issues.

Everyday also you hear people complain Reddit slow, Youtube slow, that slow.

My office got both Unifi and Time. Both like day and night difference.

Penang here is TIME territory.

Even shophouses and landed business offices also got TIME Fibre infra already.

TIME Business is offering 100MBps Symmetrical RM138/mth for SMEs. Might not be the cheapest but they're giving 2 phone lineswith DECTS phones(2 phone numbers) with it.

Why TM now became one of the major upstream peers for Maxis AS9534?

Suddenly pings rose to almost double even with local servers such as those in KV and SG in northern region.

AS4788 was the top 3 yesterday. It changed today again. If you see Maxis peering list TM is now no 8 in their list.

Pings used to be under 5ms from Southern Perak (only around 150km to Cyberjaya) now at least double from what they used to be 2 months ago?





I thought my fibre line kaput already but it turned out the first 2 hops no changed from what is used to be the entire problem now starts from 4th hop which is 58.71.243.49 regional router.
Did their competent engineers who managed your broadband network last time all left the company already?

It's been months since April until now your network started to become lame like this. Too many signups? Overcongested already? Everybody switching from Unifi? Maxis technicians sleeping? Staffed outsourced already and no replacements? Laying off your workforce?

My pings used to be only less than 5ms earlier this year to KL/Subang/Cyberjaya servers.

Now I'm getting no less than 12-13ms everyday which it used to me my pings to Singapore.

Maxis Fibre network is sinking ship? Too many people from Unifi hopping over now, but they not doing anything to upgrade their network regional routers/equipments?
