Does this mean that I have to customize? I am not pro to change parts so i rather they come out of the box.

Foldie I'm thinking of has 9 speed shifter

1. 11-36T Cassette  - no need change I think. 36T should be enough right?

2. 53 crank only - Single track. I'm think of changing to dual track. Heard rb crank won't fit. Have to buy taiwan? Any good brand to recommend and what size? what's the diff 53-39 and 42 46?

3. Wheels suggestions?

So I want to go for hill (comfortable in genting sempah. i can do genting sempah quite comfortable on 11-28t 53/39) but straight can average 28 30km/h on cadence 70?

You have that much of a budget I know of one guy letting go of his newly assembled fnhon with ultegra groupset. Not sure if he sold it off yet or not

yes. that's why people go for fnhon custom build. around 9-10kg for 20"

bangsawan eventually will get a birdy or brompton

performance guy will go with tern and mod it

enthusiast will go with fnhon custom build best bang for buck

mainstream safe bet will be dahon midrange and above

Currently I have a Tern Link B7, which obviously came with only 7 speed. Right now I'm thinking of upgrading to 9 speed. Need some advice regarding these:

1. Which one is better? Change current hub to freehub or change the whole wheelset?

2. Cost wise, new set of wheelset is from 3xx to 450 (in Shopee). Will it be cheaper if only change freehub and re-do the rims?

Okay then, thank you for the advice. Do you mind explain more why to change the tire as well? Any important details? 

As of now, my tire are 20x1.50 but I do inclined to change it to either 20x1.75 or 20x2.00 as I think the stability would be better.

for speed, i go with my 451 1 3/8 wheelset tyre combo, 53t front, tiagra dropbar etc.

ultimate portability i have my 412 14 inch 3 speed bike. folds as compact as brompton

for longer distance touring kind of ride, i take brompton.

i saw u posted in fb group, how about the fnhon retro vs your 412?

retro is very stable, having the rear triangle, and also the ability to accomodate larger crank is a bonus.

any folded size comparison between 2?

i saw ppl said dahon k3 after folded the front and rear wheel macam not 100% side by side…not sure fnhon retro also same
