I bought this cheap cheap bone induction (kononnya) headphone (RB-S33) for cycling usage, cant complain la for this price. I think its safer also compare to earbud, wont cycling halfway dropped out from ear haha

If u wana get higher end 1. look for Aftershockz brand bone induction headphone, the apple store at ground floor of Digital Mall (section 13) do have demo units for testing!

this one not bone induction, just small speaker blasting outside your ears

Harlo harlo..
Purposely went thru a lot of email traffic with admin to get my password reset so that I can join in here. haha

I join into folding few months ago and love it, cause able to travel with the bike easily. The bike I owned is pikes 3x3 and now I'm looking forward to get another 1 for my wife.

At the moment I'm aiming aceoffix tri-fold due to it's light weight. So maybe it's easier for my wife to carry it if needed.

Aceoffix ok kan? haha

Just noticed that the Tern Malaysia website has removed the Verge P10 from their bike list.

Understood. smile.gif

If mods, wat r those recommended? Change to external gear?

If change to external gear, wat r the parts needed? Let's say I target 9 speed (Shimano Sora), I need to have the shifter, derailleur and hub bearing, wat else ya? Any idea the cost?

Cheers.

Guys, I have a confession to make. Late last year, I got myself a fixed gear bike & that spelled the end of my Tern Verge D9. I wanted to sell it away but my wife said she wanted to use it for santai ride, which never happened. The Tern was folded up, abandoned & collecting dust in the store room.

Today I brought it out for some simple maintenance because a friend of mine wanted to try cycling tomorrow & I promised to accompany him around. I wanted to make sure the Tern is still OK so I took it out for a spin & fuh... compared to my fixed gear, the Tern was sooo buttery smooth.

OK, maybe the fact that I can freewheel on it plays a factor too but it really makes me realize how well the Tern can handle the curves, slopes & bumps along the way.

Moral of the story: sometimes it pays to force yourself to ride another bike in order to better appreciate your old bike lol.

the easiest way it to mod ur crankset to double. shifter/cable/fd/hanger are needed besodes double chainring crankset.

if u change to external gear, many mods needed
wheelset/rd/shifter/hanger/cables. why in the 1st place u need to buy internal gear if u plan to change it later?

HI Sir, actually m considering an used Oyama trifold with 3 speed internal hub. haven pull the trigger yet. in dilemma due to 'limited' speed, afraid it will be 'backward' from my XDS AFB320 (16 speed). sweat.gif
If i ever pulled the trigger and in future discover difficulties to 'climbing hill', add the crankset, adding to double will make it 3 x 2 speed, just like the pikes (6 speeds) rite?

Cheers.
