Want to consult the sifus here. I had a little incident with my fnhon that day during my ride at putrajaya. I think it rained that day hence alot of fallen branches and one of them got stuck to my crankset near the bicycle chain. The chain came out when I tried to remove the branch but i managed to put it back. No issue with the bike whatsoever

However, today I suddenly feel like my bike is heavy. Heavy as in it feels hard to pedal, heavy feel, especially when I set to higher gears (this is 3 days after the tree branch incident) I know high gears will make the pedal resistance higher but it seems to be way over the top now. It is definitely not how it felt a few days before the chain incident. Tyre have been fully pumped. So what could be the problem . My gear set is - Shimano Alivio 9 Speed Shifter

ya I am also eager to know. I bought one from rockbros but it didnt fit quite as well as advertised

check ur brakes?sometimes brakes got stuck and ur bike will feel damn heavy. try to lift ur bike and spin ur wheel 1st

another problem might be will is ur chain. unalign/bent chain will give u bad feel on ride.however i do feel the problem come form ur brake. anyway if u could share some picture/video might help a bit.

I found where the issue is. I was told that is the bike derailleur. The chain will come if i switch to gear 4 and above... I have a friend whom told me that it is probably crooked. Where can i get that fixed? I have no idea how to do it myself

ur rd cage looks misalign. this situation will not give ur bike soo heavy feeling when cycling. its just stuck feeling on the chain and feel hard to pedal

got 2 solution here
- find a good mechanics with proper tools to align back ur rd
- buy new rd, not that pricey lah for sora rd

I wanna try to ride there one day also but I am not very familiar with the roads there.

A ride around the lake would be a good start

where do people park ah? can ride very fast or not? cause there will be a lot of people right?

Park at mcd or masjid besi parking lot. If ride around lake it is the jogging path so even if no people also you won't be riding fast. Enjoy the view.

If you wish to ride fast then it is out on the main road usually, together with roadbikes and other vehicles.

i wouldn't recommend ppl to park at mcd parking. it's meant for mcd customer for dine-in and takeway. can park kat open space tepi mcd.

parking at masjid besi definitely better.

or else can park at anjung floria, now they have setup a pit stop which include route map and some bike tools. newbie can follow the marking on floor.

ah... when i say Mcd actually i have in mind the empty lot beside Mcd, just that for convenience i left that out and just write mcd as the landmark. theres not much parking box in Mcd compound anyway.

plenty of parking space la…putrajaya impossible unable to get a parking space…

from masjid besi, in front of dorset hotel, food truck area, millennium monument, tepi mcd, dataran putra round about, tepi pmo, etc.

some prefer parking kat seri gemilang bridge area so that they can go either way.

for sure the more u cycle at putrajaya, the more parking area u will discover. by that time u will have your own preferred exact parking lot

while i always park at under bridge to avoid sunlight and rain…haha.

No ppl cycling and jogging at putrajaya core island these few days, all balik kampung already.

while marina side still got a lot youngster playing e-scooter, always whole group stop all their e-scooter at the middle of lane, menyampah betul.

saujana hijau side no parking, all go there for picnic.
