deposit on 7.5.25 invested same day 7.5.25 although updating takes 2 days

anyone knows the deposit cut off time to make sure money invested same day?

Versa is paying basic return 3.98%
without referral bonus and quest

The Quest return is tricky
it may not be as good as we thought
due to restricted amount and time period
entitled for that rates

but i dont understand

1. the last part with capital reduced to RM104700 ?
ok got it now (x7 + x28)/35...

2. That 29.5.25 Reinvestment 181.50 units
dont understand how to apply the 0.0025
0.0025 x units = 224.14 units?

well, we know what the returns were between any period in the past but we won't know what the return will be
April 2025 was 3.59%

RM 104,700 is the weighted average of RM 80,700 (7 days) and RM 110,700 (28 days)
(RM 80,700 x 7 + RM 110,700 x 28) / 35

another perspective would be
RM 80,700 - 35 days @ 3.97% p.a.
RM 30,000 - 28 days @ 4.01% p.a.

your calculated return 3.8 - 4 is good enough,
worth parking while waiting for Ganjaran 1%

how about that 0.0025 x 89646 units = 181.50 units only?
this part i still cant figure out.-...

my point is "Past performance is no guarantee of future results"
distribution = 0.25 cents per unit
89,646.98 x RM 0.0025 = RM 224.12
RM 224.12 / RM 1.2348 ~ 181.50 units

for investment 3.8% yes too low

28.5.25 Ref Bonus RM10 =8.1 units
29.5.25 Reinvest RM177.37 = 143.64 units

6.6.25 RM87881.02, 71101.15 units
autodebit RM1200 completed 6.6.25

6.6.25 RM89081.02 , 72071.95 units

11.6.25 Welcome 3% RM27.45 =22.19 units

How accurate is this simple method?

Cost RM88900, profit RM266.03

take 3 periods
RM1k 11.5.25 -18.5.25 = 7D
RM87700 19.5.25 - 5.6.25 = 18D
RM88900 6.6.25 - 11.6.26 = 5D

total days =30D
total profit RM266.03
Spread out capital for 30D = RM67670

errors corrected

Return = (226.03 266.03 x365/30)/67670
=4.78%

minus welcome RM27.45
return =3.57%
mistake above
actual should be (238.58 x365/30)/67670
=4.29%

minus RM10 and RM27.45
return would be 4.11%

in above example how would the +2% be calculated
and for how many days??

RM1200 x 2% 6.6.25 tiil 30.6.25??

what you attached is the summary of the transaction
when you clicked into the transaction details, it would show the date of submission, processing & completion

i have no idea how the quest work

put in that Bonus RM10 and 27.45
return is 4.78%

conclusion - Versa is better than KDI

surprisingly similar to what i calculated
despite using 30Day period and
only RM67670 base.

maths is interesting....
it has adjusted my 30D with a smaller base

Ahh crap just made a deposit then only remembered Friday is a public holiday..

The deposit only completed on Monday 30/6...
Means wont get any interest for it from today till Monday right..

versa cash cutoff is 3pm, so quite likely had been processed yesterday
which means would have bought at the NAV of 25/6

Does the date of processing determine when interest starts accruing? I always thot it was the date the transaction is completed which, for a online transfer in, is 2 working days later. Based on the examples given in the website.

Agreed, withdrawal is T+1. That is specified in the T&C.

But deposit is T+2.

Question is when interest starts accruing on deposits. T+2 I believe

if u read carefully, T+2 (completed date) is the day that your cash in would be reflected in Versa account
(the Versa balance in app is always lagged behind anyway)


could check the statement and would realise that the NAV of converting cash-in to units was based on processing date instead of completed date
