QUOTE(gooroojee @ Oct 26 2023, 10:56 AM) I haven't done the simulations but the 10 year and YTD returns for the 3 Versa PRS funds seem to be underwhelming isn't it? All 3 have 4% or below returns over the past 10 years, and YTD performance is only from 0.86% to 3% for the first 9 months, with 3% being the conservative fund with a 1.3% management fee. The return is crap. Just forget about the return and calculate the tax savings you going to get based on your tax bracket and see if it’s worth it.I don't like funds that charge 1.8% for a 1.3% return... |

I have a totally different experience. I love Versa's beautiful and user-friendly interface so I'm sticking with it. I receive 4% interest even though sometimes the interest adjustment might be a bit slow via rebates. But effective rate is indeed 4%. CS is very responsive when I emailed them about the calculation formula for interest. I tried to apply KDI but it took them 2 weeks to approve my application. Gave up and never bother to try after looking at the ugly interface. plantcloner, Cubalagi, and 1 other liked this post

QUOTE(plantcloner @ Mar 15 2024, 12:13 PM) KDI does have a very archaic way of doing the KYC. Mine took about a week to get approved (I nearly gave up). However their limit for the 4% interest is RM50k versus Versa's RM30k. KDI allows web access while Versa is solely app only. Versa is actually 60k. 30k x 2. QUOTE(sweetpea123 @ Mar 29 2024, 12:33 AM) freaking Versa /AHAM staff keep bugging me for EPF statement after I have given them previous employers' details and length of service. Anyone having the same problem. I asked , what if I dont give my EPF statement (super sensitive doc), they said they might close the Versa acc n return my moolah. Yes, they ask me about it when I topup my versa cash last month (temporary park my annual bonus). After I provided to them the money is reflected the next day. Maybe after hitting certain amount they will ask?anyone having the same problem? |

QUOTE(ronnie @ Apr 2 2024, 12:07 PM) Since I started with Versa Cash at July-2021... You sure Versa give 4% p.a from 2021 until now ar? Get your facts right first la!My Capital = RM16,500 Value as of today = RM18,250 (includes bonus, referral, incentive) Based on 4% p.a. from July 2021 to March 2024, I should get RM18,355 Current at loss of RM105... Should I continue in Versa or just move to ASM3 ? https://versa.com.my/how-should-you-use-fixed-deposits/ From this article in 2021 it seems like interest is only 2.4% when it started |

QUOTE(batman1172 @ Apr 9 2024, 08:27 PM) But must auto debit into non versa cash account 500 monthly then only can get +1% Yeah it’s quite risky. If fund price drop, then we will be making loss. And Versa invest funds need to pay 1.54% management and trustee fees. 4% risk free or 4.77% + extra risk + 1.54% pa management/trustee fees. 🤔 Worth it? Someone do math please 🙏 sam93xxxxx liked this post

QUOTE(FDInvestor @ Apr 9 2024, 09:04 PM) From my experience, return for some fund is stagnant and did not align with return as posted on Weekly Updates. How you all think on this ? They keep advertise their last year's return which is high because US stock is up a lot in 2023. But 2024 is not so good. I think it's a trap. We have to look at Versa's perspective, their goal is to earn the management fees from us. Once we are invested and if the funds are down, we have to ride it out and Versa will keep earning the fees regardless of fund performance. I will skip it and stick to 4% Versa Cash/Cash-i sam93xxxxx liked this post

QUOTE(MaJYun @ Apr 9 2024, 10:18 PM) My understanding is that the guarantee 4% p.a for the first RM30,000 of Versa Cash/Cash-i will be discontinued in May 24 and replace by this new +1% promotion if we set a new auto-debit order of RM 200 into any versa investment(except versa gold). This is because I no longer can see the guarantee 4% webpage. If that's true then they are forcing us to invest in their Invest funds or else we will just get base rate which is very unattractive. |

First of all 4.77% is not guaranteed. Base net return for every month is different. What if their base net return drop until 3.3% like we see before? Then we only get 4.3%.
That RM30k if put into GXbank will earn a fixed RM600 for 8 months risk free. At the end of the day it depends on your risk appetite. What do you guys think? Maybe temporary move to Rize for 3.8% first? Oh yeah KDI still giving 4% for first 50k right? This post has been edited by Barricade: Apr 9 2024, 10:42 PM |

QUOTE(HumbleBF @ Apr 11 2024, 10:09 AM) Only for 1 month to take note. Not going to do that. The fact that they exclude gold means they are focusing on earning management fees only. And yeah have to subscribe auto debit before 25th from cash to invest. But I will follow your content and see how it turns out HumbleBF liked this post
