JAKARTA (BeritaTrans.com) - Juru Bicara Menteri Pertahanan Prabowo Subianto, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak membeberkan strategi pembiayaan investasi alutsista.

Dia menjelaskan, persentase anggaran pertahanan terhadap produk domestik bruto (PDB) 0,8 persen, yang konsisten selama 25 tahun ke depan. 

"Jumlah anggaran pemenuhan Alpalhankam prioritas pada periode ‪2020-2024‬ sebesar 125 miliar Dollar AS dan mengupayakan sumber pendanaan alternatif untuk mengurangi beban pemenuhan Alpalhankam bagi keuangan negara," cuit Dahnil dalam akun twitternya dikutip, Kamis (3/6).

Dia menjelaskan saat ini Indonesia membutuhkan kepastian investasi Pertahanan dalam jangka Panjang. Sebab itu pertahanan kata dia bukanlah biaya tetapi investasi.

"Ingat Pertahanan bukan cost tapi Investasi kita sebagai bangsa dan negara. Defence is not cost But Invesment," ungkapnya.

Dia pun membeberkan saat ini Indonesia memerlukan kepastian investasi pertahanan pada 2020-2044. Sebab untuk menjamin konsistensi pemenuhan Alpalhankam bagi Kemhan dan TNI. Kemudian meningkatkan kesiapan Alpalhankam TNI secara signifikan dalam waktu sesingkat-singkatnya

Tidak hanya itu dia juga menjelaskan alasan belanja program 2020-2044 dilakukan 2021-2024. Sebab menurut dia investasi yang dilakukan secara langsung pada 2021-2024 akan meningkatkan posisi tawar Indonesia.

"Investasi yang dilakukan secara langsung di tahun 2021-2024 akan meningkatkan posisi tawar Indonesia agar mendapatkan alat pertahanan dengan harga yang lebih terjangkau," katanya.

Dia pun mengatakan investasi yang dilakukan juga dalam waktu yang relatif singkat. Sehingga kata dia dapat dipastikan semua alat bisa bekerja sama satu sama lain.

"Selain itu, karena investasi dilakukan dalam waktu yang relatif singkat, dapat dipastikan semua alat yang dibelanjakan bisa bekerja sama atau compatible dengan satu lainnya," bebernya.

Dia pun menganologikan seperti beli rumah. Saat membeli kata Dahnil tidak bisa mencicil pekerjaan fisik selama 25 tahun. Sebab kata dia perlu segera mengunakan rumah yang dibeli.

"Yang kita cicil adalah pembayarannya dengan kredit kepemilikan," bebernya.

Selanjutnya kata dia saat ini yang jadi prioritas investasi pertahanan Prabowo yaitu pemberdayaan industri pertahanan, peningkatan kemampuan intelijen, peningkatan pengamanan wilayah perbatasan dan pulau terkecil, penguatan sistem pertahanan udara nasional, penguatan sistem komunikasi dan elektronika. Kemudian peningkatan satuan peluru kendali strategis, pembentukan komponen cadangan dan penataan komponen pendukung.

Dahnil pun membeberkan apa output yang diharapkan Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) dan Prabowo. Serta yang bisa dihasilkan dengan Investasi Pertahanan.

JAKARTA, iNews.id - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD participated in reviewing the TNI defense equipment exhibition with President Jokowi, Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin, Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, and TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, Tuesday (5/10/2021) in front of Merdeka Palace, Jakarta in the series of the 76th Anniversary of the TNI. Mahfud also revealed President Jokowi's special message to Defense Minister Prabowo regarding the TNI's defense equipment.

Mahfud said, President Jokowi had advised the Minister of Defense Pribaowo to look for a better defense system. According to Mahfud, Prabowo stated that he was ready to carry out the instructions from the President.

"The president said to look for something better. The Defense Minister said that in about two years, God willing, it will be on par with developed countries," said Mahfud in Jakarta, Tuesday (5/10/2021).

Bamsoet Encourages Strengthening of Major Weapon System for Indonesian Air Defense

Jakarta - Chairman of the MPR RI Bambang Soesatyo expressed his support and encouragement for the strengthening of the TNI Major Weapon System to support Indonesia's air defense. Especially on aircraft, whether owned by the Air Force, Navy, or Army.

"In 2020, Indonesia's air defense forces are supported by 462 aircraft. Consisting of 41 fighter aircraft, 39 special attack aircraft, 54 transport aircraft, 109 training aircraft, 5 reconnaissance and special mission aircraft, 177 helicopters, and 16 combat helicopters. Placing Indonesia in 28th in the world, the highest in Southeast Asia," said Bamsoet in his statement, Wednesday (6/10/2021).

The Head of the FKPPI State Defense Agency and the Head of the Law Enforcement, Defense and Security Agency of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry added, specifically for the ownership of fighter aircraft, Indonesia's position is at number 48. This position is below various ASEAN countries, such as Singapore which is in 22nd position, Vietnam at 28th position, Thailand at 30th position, and Myanmar at 36th position.

"To strengthen the fighter fleet, in the near future the government through the Ministry of Defense will bring in Boeing F-15EX aircraft, from the United States (US), the latest and most advanced version of the F-15. As well as Dassault Rafale fighter jets made in France," said Bamsoet.

Piaggio Aerospace has won a nearly $221 million (€200 million) contract from the Italian Ministry of Defense for nine new P.180 Avanti Evo+ twin turboprops and the upgrade of 19 earlier Avantis. Under the order—which was outlined in April, committed to in July, and finalized on December 26—the aircraft will be delivered over the next four years. The July commitment was undertaken by the Italian government to increase the attractiveness of Piaggio to prospective purchasers.

“The order—just one year after the extraordinary administration started—is the result of the joint and generous effort of all parties involved: the Italian government, the armed forces, and local institutions,” extraordinary commissioner of Piaggio Aerospace Vincenzo Nicastro said. “This represents, for Piaggio Aerospace, a turning point: with the restart of aircraft production, we will also be able to gradually reintegrate workers [who are] currently [on] temporary layoffs.” He added that the restructured OEM continues to finalize new aircraft orders from the private market as well as prepare a plan to sell its assets.

The SAS, SBS, and the Special Reconnaissance Regiment are believed to have bought 150 of these rifles. They have already been deployed in Syria and Iraq.

THE SAS has been armed with a £9,000 rifle that can blast helicopters out of the sky with a single shot.

The Gepard GM6 Lynx is extremely powerful despite only weighing 23lb and measuring less than four feet long.

With a range of just over one mile, the Hungarian-made semi-automatic rifle has a barrel that retracts to absorb its huge recoil.

A member of the Special Forces told the Mail on Sunday: "The GM6 is fantastic. It’s like going into battle carrying an artillery piece. The troops call it the Howitzer. It an absolutely massive punch.

"The rounds it fires can stop a truck bomb in its tracks. A team equipped with one of these could take out half a dozen very expensive fighters or helicopters very quickly."

The rifle can fire five .50-calibre Raufoss Mk2 bullets in less than three seconds.

The rounds can smash through armour and then explode inside an armoured vehicle.

The SAS, SBS and Special Reconnaissance Regiment have reportedly bought 150 of the rifles.

Some of them have already been used in Syria and Iraq.

Similar weapons are also believed to be used by military forces in Canada, Hungary, India, Mali and Romania.

Strengthen Defense and Security, Government Will Modernize Defense Equipment

Jakarta: The government has promised to modernize the TNI's main weapon system (defense equipment). Modernization to make Indonesia's defense and security stronger in addition to establishing reserve components.

"The government is modernizing the comprehensive defense system in all dimensions," said President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Batujajar Special Forces Education and Training Center (Pusdiklatpassus), Bandung, West Java, Thursday, October 7, 2021.

The government also cooperates with the nation's best scientists and engineers. They are currently researching and developing the latest defense equipment such as the construction of frigates (warships).

"Including, guided missiles for air defense and sea defense as well as in the construction of Indonesian submarines," said the Head of State.

According to Jokowi, modernization is important to strengthen Indonesia's defense. Moreover, a new reserve component is set and is on standby when the state calls it.
