yea just type x as the letter 'x', but it is not 110% will work. It depends on your gc driver u installed. Normally if the driver supported for your gc, you can adjust the resolution from system preferences. Btw, by default u do need to press F8 to go to the darwin bootloader. For your case, at your startup system file (forgotten the name of the file) already written to enable the darwin bootloader.
fyi, u don have to re-install hack for the kernel. U can just replace the existing kernel with new 1 via some program (such as transmac or macdrive which can read HFS+ partition) then you must remember to repair permission via your hack disc.
Well, looks like my MAC OSX really kanasai already....nothing works. Mainly due to the ATI 4850 + LCD widescreen monitor i suppose. It was still working with the ATI 4850 + 17" CRT monitor. I suspect it could also be the DVI connection, but i'm not going to revert back to VGA. Looks like it's bye bye to MAC OSX for now. Hopefully Apple or ATI will released a driver for 4850 in err...1 year's time?? fyi, u don have to re-install hack for the kernel. U can just replace the existing kernel with new 1 via some program (such as transmac or macdrive which can read HFS+ partition) then you must remember to repair permission via your hack disc.
So sad...
Hmm...or maybe i start buying some cheap parts in GarageSales to build a C2D HTPC...does the E21xx CPU works as well as a E4xxx CPU? Anyone here use E21xx for their MAC OSX?
