QUOTE(Bonchi @ Apr 26 2021, 04:50 PM) Sadly my 120aio cannot handle 200w. Immediately hit 98C and throttle. So i didnt even touch any OC on the 10600K lolol. But gaming and even rendering like R20, it doesnt go all the way 200w like prime95. Stays around 160w which is a nice 80C in R20 loop. Gaming is around 60C.. when i put vsync then it goes down to 50c dare you with only 120 aio, not enough laaaaa.. for you atleast 280.But my vccsa and io need to put 1.35/1.3v To keep 4133c18 stable. Is this normal? The ram oc also generated quite a significant power and heat demand. Current setting is memtest 8 pass stable. or Noctua dual tower ... |

TLDW: age pretty damn well
unable to launch doom and control due to cpu instruction limitation Holy moly https://www.tomshardware.com/news/intel-mot...ts-farming-chia QUOTE The Chia-D32H-D4's selling point is obviously the motherboard's 32 SATA ports, allowing you to leverage up to 32 hard drives. Gotta love them for this (same goes to many chinese boards): QUOTE It's compatible with Intel's Skylake, Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake and Coffee Lake Refresh processors. ![]() This post has been edited by Skylinestar: May 1 2021, 04:30 PM |

CPU is designed by humans, and human are never perfect so their products always have flaws, it's nothing new anymore lol.
there will always be new vulnerability hidden in new cpu and discovered decades later. Likes, move on and wait for new stepping and probably new arch. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

Allrite, I have been with couple of days with RKL.
It's not that hot when gaming. Sporadic spike will take it to 60+ Celsius. Average less than 60, high of 50 degrees. Idle temps less than 40. usually 36-38. All this on non AC room. Surprisingly , the platform feels snappier than CML. Guess you can't trust all those reviews after all. U gotta try & feel it. Of course, most important - No BSOD. Period. But Giga needs to put work on the bios. it's a bit still raw at this stage despite few revision to the beta bios. |

But Giga needs to put work on the bios. it's a bit still raw at this stage despite few revision to the beta bios. For example the 14nm process node always perceived as high power consumption, but when I finally using the dell tablet with i5 10310u, the batter last longer than i initially thought, but i enable all sorts of power saving option because too lazy to keep recharge, compares to earlier model with 8th gen CPU, the 10310u has much longer battery life and everything is pretty snappy too. read multiple reviews rather than from single source. |
