Happed to my cats too.

Kibbles time - meh... just an after thought snacking at night only.

Wet food in 400gm can - all 4 of them running to their food bowl in no time.  whistling.gif  tongue.gif

One thing, cat is a very puntual creature. Especialy with meal time. Do set a routine meal time. They will come running when the time come. As for us, 5pm is for wet food and 7am for kibbles. Daily routine.

True, i agree with you.
So now, i left the food for him and i don't care.
He got nothing to eat, so only dry kibbles there for him.
Want to eat or not, it's up to him. Haha

Last week brought my cat to the vet for annual vaccine and she's 4.2kg. Concerned that she's overweight, my vet said nope she's ideal, all you saw was just fluff. So now we cannot call her fatty girl anymore.

p.s My cat was picky with her food and sometimes skipped dinner, guess she was dieting on her own lol.

My cats are weird, I have always been feeding them wet food but sometimes they don't even eat their food. But when it comes to kibbles they get very excited and will finish everything.

The wastage is frustrating and for wet food it is not hygienic to leave it out for a few hours.

Now I'm thinking of getting some kibbles and put some on top of their wet food. Any good high protein brands to recommend? Saw a brand called Acana. Previously I fed them Molly kitten kibbles.

Also wanted to ask is my cat infected with parasytic worms? I recently saw it again in her eyeball and I have seen this before months ago also...

Is this something I can just buy online or do I need to go to the vet? Cant find the medication on shopee. .

wet food dont feed it all at one go.
make sure cat is hungry,
spread the food tru out a day, keep in fridge and warm it up.
normally wet food is use in one day and put in air tight container and not contaminated, it will last for one day in room temp.

for example those 80g pouch, u feed it twice.
40g each time.
some cat they manyak cerewet, they dont like certain wet food ponya, u need to test to see which brand or type they like.

the thing on the eye you saw it move like snake?
if not moving it might not be a worm.
indoor cat less chance gettin these parasite.

Acana or Orijen is good. They are very high in protein and their ingredients are good if you scrutinize what goes into their kibbles.

Personally tried many different types of cat litter before, from the expensive ones down to the cheap ones. I would say that how good a cat litter is kind of depends on how often you clear the pee and poo from cat litter box too.

- If you dont mind doing it at least once to twice a day, go for the clumping type, they are usually more or less the same, not too much difference from what I observed, but you have to be committed to clean it very often, or the smell from cat urine will be unbearable and start "contaminating" rest of the cat litter, i usually end up dumping the whole thing regardless of its clumped or not due to the smell.

- For me personally, i prefer the non clumping pine wood pellet type of cat litter, the best type I have encountered so far. I would fill just enough cat litter to cover the box base, scoop out the poo and throw the whole thing out around 4-7days later or once i noticed all the pellet dissolved into sawdust. There is no foul smell at all during the whole 4-7days, downside is, there could be quite alot of sawdust scattering around the floor, I placed a large mat beneath the cat litter box to catch all the sawdust.
Do note that there are two type of wood pellet cat litters sold online, ALWAYS look for the yellow type, AVOID the dark brown cheaper type. Normally i would buy from lazada or shopee, 1kg RM4.00 would last around 1 week for 1 cat.

Overall, I find the wood pellet type is the best in terms of cost and ease of handling. Hope that this would help you to better decide on which type to buy.

Recently my cat has been picky with her meals, taking sweet time to finish or even not touching them. She will eat if I add wet food/gravy to them.

So I'm thinking of mixing her kibbles with wet food. Any brand recommendation?

Currently she's on RC Hair & Skin, thinking of switching to Taste of the Wild if I'm mixing with wet food to be kinder to my pocket.

p.s. Anyone feeding their kitties raw egg? What's a safe frequency to feed?
