The kitten want to play, but doesn't know how to hide the claws. When the claws are out, play dead. Less attraction to claw you.

depends on how long I'm away. They are fine on their own for 5 days, but anything longer, I hire a catsitter.

Hi, anyone using Royal Canin Indoor 27 here? I just got a pack switching from RC Sterilised and was surprised to see the kibble size so big! They look like dog kibble size to me.
I got it online so am worried that I may have gotten a fake.
The picture shows the sterilised kibbles compared to the indoor. Sterilised is half the size.
Can anyone share if the RC INDOOR kibble size is that large? Tq

Drank enough water?

Personally don't have experience with cat and kidney failures and don't want that but generally, I believe you gotta control their protein intake. They are okie taking high protein kibbles during the early stages but it should be less over time.

It is a life time commitment. Try feed stray cats at first.

The best way is to feed your cat dry & wet food regularly instead of dry food only. For example, dry food in the morning & wet food in the evening/night. They would love that.

Anyone had good experience putting your cat at a cat/pet hotel?

I'm looking to put my cat for like 10 days and looking for something affordable.

The thing I'm worried about is the cat experiencing stress and possibly contracting disease or something.

yup there is always tht risk.

the cheaper ones of cos risk is higher, u oni need to visit the place n c for yourself.

cheapest ones, just put it in small steel cage, stackup with other cat, last time i c is rm15/day.
u think , got risk or not, of cos tis way is very risky to get sick, fleas etc, + stress.

expensive ones, one whole room for ur cat.
u bring ur own disinfectant n u clean it up puas puas.
then tell them ur cat cant mix wit any other cat, only stay in that room. - less risk, fler can go in n play wit it, got web cam u can monitor.
but very expensive.

u got fren, family help u jaga? - risk is they xcdenly let the cat out of d hse n cant find anymore..
it happened before, pet sitter error, boarding place cuai...
u can search for the news...

so how? susah right...

- eat healthy food, never feed human foods to cat, please avoid feeding kibbles la because many of them are full of crap e.g. flour, corn, wheat, pea.
- drink MORE water... can add water to the food even if you are already feeding wet food.

can read more about CKD here : No.12

sell? i dont sell lol. but i do feed my cats freeze-dried food and also wet food.

no la, what i meant "human food" is those human-cooked food & snacks with seasonings, garlic, alcohol, dairy etc, cat cannot eat these so don't feed.
read this for the list.

ya, agreed with u there are many pet food from china, so need to do proper research before u buy as some of them are low-quality (i kena before) some are actually good quality, lesson: always buy from a reputable brand.
