Anyways, I was just wondering. How many of you guys pick, and how many do fingerstyle, or even combine both?
I have issues trying to produce the palm muting effect while playing fingerstyle. I figured out a way to do it, but it's annoying and you can't go too fast. Any ideas?

i play with both. i'm a guitarist so i play better with the pick. i still cant get a nice warm tone from fingerplucking. plus i cant play 3 fingers for shiz

anytin tat cant b played fast requires extreme patience and endurance
it all comes back to "PRACTISE" the consistent practise

Actually 2 fingers is already sufficient.

i use double thumb and double pop when trying to play palm mute. The speed is ok for me. I never need to go fast with the songs i play.

I never use a pick because, well i can't .
