the b-50 is a very good bass for its price. my friend uses it(but its with me now biggrin.gif) it sounds MUCH better than my sx. get the b-50 if you can afford it, period. i don't play my sx much but i play his ltd cuz it sounds soo much better smile.gif

aiya a cable is a cable. So expensive for what?

I play with my china cable and with my guitarists monster cable totally no difference.

well i switched from planet waves to ibanez few months ago and it definitely made a huge difference. very much less buzzing and humming.

in my opinion, start off with a low range guitar but not too low untill you don't feel like playing that piece of wood. this way, you will feel more motivated by being able to "upgrade" to a better guitar, kinda like rewarding yourself for improving smile.gif

for guitar, i have to use a pick 95% of the time tongue.gif
for bass i can do both but usually if i use a pick it'll be mostly downstrokes so that i get a nice even, consistent tone thumbup.gif

i find it depends on the way you pluck, whether its towards the body of the bass or upwards that affects the tak tak tak sound =/

i think he means right hand haha. 4 fingers on the left hand is normal isnt it? but plucking with 4 fingers is hard

something like MAB's string dampener =/
but its best not to use it... next time you'll have problems playing clean without it

QUOTE(Thalmes @ Mar 17 2009, 04:43 PM)
Thanks for the websites and replies . Will go there and check it out if I have time . Do you think leaving the guitar the way it is is nicer or put stickers on top of it to make it look more appealing ? How do you think ?
My Bass Guitar is SR200 ... No pickguards. Any ideas ?
*
1 or 2 stickers max. anything more will make it look kinda "cheap". not too big stickers too tongue.gif
