No i just pluck instead of slap. Pluck with the thumb, if that makes any sense. And the upward stroke is the same only with a little less force so the strings don't slap back on the frets to get that percussive tone.

I gotta try this out biggrin.gif

But that's not what i meant. He's plucking outward and then slapping with his fingers.

I'm just using my thumb like how you would play classical guitar.

dude...!!! I not selling lar ok. THe shit does rock hard...haha
But it would be redundant if u had an active bass.
I like the overdrive on the BDDI, nice.
Maybe next time i will sell lar, to get the prog BDDI.

Fender...?? My dream of a fender....continues. haha. no $$$.
U when gonna get fender lar foogie? Or terus get warwick or modulus or something.

Neeways PG165 recording update for u, instrments all settled, next week vocals. After dat should be mixing on the sound engineers part. But we need more $$ for mastering maybe by Nick Lee. THen more $$ for reproducing CD, printing, cases....
Poetic Ammo got it right...its all about the $$$

nzx, when i work dat time, i will pledge quite a lot of money to pg165 biggrin.gif.
foogie? fender? tunggu lama lama la tongue.gif. dun even think of warwick tongue.gif. altho it's my top list of wat i want now. well, not wat i need. tongue.gif. unless salted fish really wanna concentrate fulltime on music, then maybe i wud need it tongue.gif. then again, prolly not sad.gif. after botb might be difficult for us to continue on.

a 5 string warwick thumb is 5.1kg
a gibson les paul custom can reach 5kg
the weight contributes to the tone?

@chris ==> yarr weight usually contributes to tone.
Most of the time the heavier ones have a more "solid" tone, and often slightly better sustain.
My BC Rich is heavier than epi les paul ultra.....but sounds freaking awesome.

well, using an uber-heavy instrument for awhile helps build muscle....
Just look at the famous les paul users. All got physique like they work out constantly.
