depending on the stock available in each area,

NETIS DL4480V (Unifi firmware)
AZtech DS244WSGV (Unifi firmware)
TP-LINK Archer C1200 (Unifi firmware)
D-LINK DIR-842 (Unifi firmware)
but there are some new users will get this type of router due to the lack of unifi router

D-LINK DIR-842 (D-Link firmware)
D-LINK Covr-1100 (D-Link firmware)
TP-LINK Archer C6 (TP-Link firmware)
*
Interesting, but mesh wifi? that's new. Covr-1100 is quite rare to be provided but to purchase is more expensive than the other 2 above.

For the router, I'm using Mikrotik RB750Gr3 with my Unifi800.

i recommend a qotom router (or anything that can use pfsense). for wifi you can get a separate wireless ap like a ubiquiti ap or something.

a cheaper option is an all in one like the tplink archer for excellent value. but if ur going for longterm, my first suggestion is probly better :X

Did you check wired speed?
sounds like you are limited by modem/cable connected at 100mbps instead of 1gbps

What model of TP-Link you use? Some entry level TP-Link are limited to 100 mbps. What routers recommended? Depends on you home size/layout, your budget, and what features you want eg parental control / QOS / traffic monitor etc. Plenty of forummers here are advance / super-advance so we use SOHO equipment eg Mikrotik / Ubiquiti / PFSense biggrin.gif

Refer to the first page of the thread, write a complaint letter to SKMM. Then look up this company "https://www.citybroadband.my/" to request for fibre broadband coverage at your residential address. This hopefully would whip TM into action with the appearance of a competitor. In my case, TM did roll out their unifi service in record time, when city broadband started building their fiber optic infrastructure in my hometown.

thanks for the help.i do it then see what else i can do

Mine also replied like this when I reported to MCMC last year. They said that the infrastructure will be available in March 2021. Around November, I already saw they started pulling Fibre to the pole and last week, all DP's are already up on the pole in my taman. Now, it's waiting for activation. The contractor said that everyone can use it within next month. That's a good news. So, probably yours will be like that too. Keep an eye on your telephone pole.
*

Btw could you guide me how to make a report to mcmc regards to coverage issues?

For strong signal and budget under 1K,

Wifi 5-
RT AC68u
RT AC86u

Wifi 6-
AX3000
TUF AX3000

Of course, there are many other cheaper models and more expensive models.

I myself is now using TUF AX3000, the signal is strong enough for the time being. The router is on the second floor, covering 21 devices.
