I saw KC3000 & Fury Renegade are quite similar except the latter has slightly higher write speed (7Kmb/s vs 7.3kmb/s) and endurance (1.6PBW vs 2PBW), price different between these 2 about RM70, which one is more worth?

Both also from Kingston. Higher endurance more worth it.

This seller should be OK. I bought before Apple Thunderbolt Firewire adapter and Thunderbolt USBC adapter from them.

Look for PCIE gen 3 SSD if your laptop doesn't support PCIE gen 4 or doesn't need so fast. I see many seller start clearing their stock of PCIE gen 3 SSD so it's a good time to buy now before only left the more expensive PCIE gen 4. A month ago I bought Gigabyte M30 512GB for RM169 only. Now the seller no more stock.

Budget and purpose? If for secondary storage, just buy any stick from a reputable brand will do.

Yes, just for secondary storage mainly to store games and maybe some music etc, but I think the 512GB SSD read and write gonna be better than my current 256GB SSD so why not put my windows into there as well hmm

For Samsung diehards & those not worried bout warranty issues

870 EVO SATA 4TB at USD 300 (lowest ever at Amzn)
https://www.amazon.com/SAMSUNG-Inch-Interna...36GF?th=1&psc=1

Add on USD 24 for shipping+ import tax = $324 = about RM 1.5k
Absolutely beats any local shopee seller

pci-e gen3 x4. however, it's better to check the form factor of the stock ssd. sometimes these manufacturers use less-common ones. 2280 is what we can usually find in retail market.

large SSD usually will last much longer, SSD with RAM, and with overprovisioning enabled will further extend the SSD life expectancy.
provide you dont abuse it, eg torrenting, use it like server drive.

My 960evo 256GB TBW is 31347GB, already erased itself 122 times and it's still kicking.

my usual trick is non-essential programs and download are saved to HDD or NAS.
give it few more years, SSD 1TB/$ will become more affordable and you can say good bye to dead hdd or bulky PC soon.

yes.

certain manufacturers seldom share details about their oem drives publicly.
