Spreading fake news. Where is it on that new review? NV3 is quite new as well. That site comparing new and old controller. WD also got amazing Dramless controller as well.
Before you shoot you mouth again, read the comments as to the possible cause and dive into the source. Translated (search timestamp for actual comment in German):

According to Geizhals, the Kingston KC3000 previously used the Micron TLC-176 NAND flash memory, but unfortunately, it has recently been switched to the older BiCs5 TLC-112. Therefore, it's important to distinguish between the two versions. This one should be the newer version with the cheaper NAND flash memory.
In Geizhals site (Germany webstore so its details are legit):
https://geizhals.de/kingston-kc3000-pcie-4-...g-a2621457.html (mentions Micron pre 2023)
https://geizhals.de/kingston-kc3000-pcie-4-...g-a2621456.htmlhttps://geizhals.de/kingston-kc3000-pcie-4-...g-a2621458.html (Both newer listings stated BICS5 NAND)
Yes I know source its in German and its easier to shout fake news, but take the effort to find out the truth.
It was a comment from another web forum which got me interested to find Igor and then Geizhal to search the truth. Not easy I know, thats why what I said has proof instead of shouting fake news and calling people names.
For context Micron 176 layer is equivalent to BICS6 162 layer generation NAND.
