Ya so far i have not received any calls from them too. Read in a few fb groups, seems like a lot of people who PO from sony website got their call.

Yeah. No biggy about not getting the actual item. It's just a matter of principle, as they have gotten into an agreement with the consumer to provide the item once we disburse our payment to them. If they're unable to fulfil this, they should not be accepting our payment. And where applicable, be giving immediate refund as the money is no longer rightfully theirs. Can't be holding on to the money for weeks rolling it when I'm getting nothing out of it.

Well, if reputation is of any value to Sony, they would figure out a way to get some units internally to fulfill their end of the deal.
They are not 3rd party reseller, if there's a will, there's a way.

Perhaps those who encountered the so called glicth. But then again, they do not explain which glitch they mean since there's a few glitches during the whole process. The only glitch i encountered is the service unavailable when I clicked the check out button.

Why u want them to cancel retail store pre order?
Each store have allocation of units. Same goes for online store.

Thier estore must be those that cant input unit quantity on them, hence the `glitch'

As so many online scalpers aka bot trying to get it. They should cancel the bots order, not retail store.

The retail store did the allocation correctly for walk in. Those using estore will have problem cuz too many ppl spamming it at the same time. Just like lazada, I bought a few stuff on11. 11 and got cancel end of the day cuz can't fulfill. Quantity not showing correctly.

Glitch or no glitch, Sony should honor their end of the deal especially when it's not a price glitch that make them suffer unreasonable loss.

Damn guys, Im still in conversation with Customer Representative, and there are some new findings based on the conversation, it seems Sony Store the Curve is the store responsible for cancelling all the online pre-order!
