Bet you it'll be faster than that. My Mac mini and MBA both took 8 and 9 days respectively despite an initial ETA of 2 weeks.

What is the reason you guys got the MBP instead of MPA?

I'm currently using MBP provided by company. I wanna buy one myself, I cant decide between MBA or MBP. MBA seems good enough already.

Funny fact, I’m a fan of the touchbar - that alone is a deciding factor any time of the day.

Touch Bar and battery life

The battery life on the MBP M1 is really amazing. This should be the standard for every laptop. Since you have to use it mobile.
Touch Bar is cool too. But I mainly use it to control volume and brightness haha. Sometimes It's faster to just click stuffs on screen.

1) Less flex when you rest your palms on it.
2) Bigger battery.
3) Not deal breaker, but customising touchbar to specific app is kinda fun. I wished more could be done.

I was in your exact same shoes, I have an MBP M1 provided by the company but personally, I went and purchased the MBA M1. The laptop isn't for heavy use, just mostly web surfing, home office work, and minor photo editing. This is also because I have a PC desktop at home to basically do the heavy workloads (if I ever decide to do some video editing). I liked that the MBA was cheaper and also quieter but I upgraded it to 16Gb of unified memory and 512Gb of storage space.

Yes that is correct is at the hinge space. But so far there is no heat issue and of course thanks to M1 chip.

Sometimes the mouse cursor disappears on the desktop, do you guys face such problem?

I'm using a logitech pebble bluetooth mouse
