Not sure if it is my connection problem, as somehow when I open the page last night, only the documentation can be download

correct la. it just ask to read the release notes carefully
then you click download, you get a zip file
you unzip, then got release notes.pdf, then xyz.bin
the .bin file is the firmware file

Using Digi Fiber since Dec'22 when I moved in my place, the thing that annoyed me the most is the private IP.

Certain apps like BitWarden, banking app (eg. Public Bank) just doesn't work when I connect on the Wi-Fi. Of course workaround is to use broadband instead, but my house has shitty broadband connection.

Another big annoyance is, frequently kena those checks and captcha etc ._.

If there anyways to get around this? Got another year for my contract ah doi.

Don't think its due to private IP issue, maybe ur DNS or VPN?
Have been using Digi Fibre for past 2 years, contract ended 2 months ago. No issue in Banking apps, also, captcha thing. Can torrent & p2p without issue also.

Bad thing is Digi never offer any promo to retain customer. Unifi offered RM89 for 100mbps, see what Time gonna offer and gonna change my provider

It is private IP issue, the IP range that I get assigned is "banned". Bitwarden and Pbe specifically this 2 that I use frequently affected. Other banks like Maybank etc don't have such blocking.

Is digi fibre reducing their rates anytime soon? Seriously considering to move to TM with their latest offerings.

Probably free upgrade I guess, past few days they called up to offer me more bandwidth for my mobile (but anyways I'm leaving for another ISP with public IP once my contract is done).

Seriously no point to sign any other fibre broadband other than unifi, since all are using the same infra anyway.

Plus unifi is cheaper and let restriction than other ISPs and again technical support wise is better.

When I subscribed, Digi was at 119 for 300, UniFi at 179 or was it 199 for 300… so I cheap out went with Digi 🤣

Few days before my Digi Fibre contract end, I ask Digi for loyalty/continuity promo/bonus, they dont give a f**k. I say i will change to other ISP then, the agent just reply me - sure, go ahead...

Really should go to Unifi, giving few weeks to see if TIme got better offer

customer service's KPI is not customer retention hahaha... hence they don't give a damn laugh.gif

But I'm guessing once you have the request to switch they might call to retain eventually.

With all these competitors giving better offers, best time to jump now.

I'm still tied to 1 more year tsk, but then again digi was the cheapest back then.

hmm isnt tht getting a bit expensive?

currently on RM60 digi postpaid paired with digi fibre 300mbps @ RM115 for 24mths

if were digi postpaid RM90 and above, digi fibre 300mbps is only RM100 for 24mths

hopefully by end of my contract digi will come out a better package than this

edit:
juz noticed it said waived the first 6mths... well it is certainly cheaper as total compare my current package

This type of tnc for first 6 months free and all is a way to reduce monthly fee but still look more expensive so existing users don’t benefit from it 🫣
