My area listed, which i think using TM infra this time.

But bro with this plan, people can think twice, either pay RM89 for 30mbps or RM90 for 50mbps.
For all who plan to change ISP, don't terminate but use switching instead. If you terminate they will take some time to clear your address from system, last I heard it's 30 days. Switching is like MNP, thus ensuring your port is not taken.

Just ported out from Unifi to Digi home fiber, anybody knows if I should return the modem and router to TM ?

Celcom has ONE major advantage over the others!

They have China Mobile as one of its Top 3 upstream provider besides GTT and VNPT??
They also have NTT America in the mix.

Among all ISPs now they offer the best value router which is the TP-Link WiFi 6 AX10 router?

Their early termination policy is the most fair among all competition! RM500 one-off penalty!
Downgrade from higher plan to lower only incur RM30 one time service charge while contract is still ongoing(NO RESET). Upgrade is FREE.

Celcom deal looks WAYYY better than DiGi's.

If u need Public IP for CCTV or hosting, then stick back to Unifi.
If those Public IP issue thing does not appear in ur life, and u r a Digi postpaid user, Digi can be the cheapest at RM75 for 50mbps

I am only Digi FIbre user for approx. a month, cant comment much on the stability... but based on my past 3-4 weeks usage, so far got 1 Saturday night kena throttle only, and so far no internet down (weekdays daytime I not am home, so not sure about it).

Btw, since Maxis, Celcom & Digi mostly ride on TM, so i think the 3 telco + unifi will have same stability, and as YoungMan said, really depends on ur area too

The ISP & TM installer did told me, most condo, even they allocated.. let's say... 50 ports, but to the end, all 50 ports are connected to a same ultimate port (initially set up during construction of the building), so IF all 50 ports are in used at the same time, sure will be congested no matter what speed what ISP what package u using. I think this will apply to a same 'taman' with 1 main port... Not sure how correct on the installer's stories

Yes GPON is shared connection.. You shared it with other people and also with upload n download. That's why it's only need 1 fiber.

No chance to get out of TM after more than a decade using them.

My Unifi baru in the process of porting out to Digi because i wanted to take up the 50mbps package @RM90.
Once TM knew i was going for the second time, immediately they called me up from KL and proposed upgraded package (current 30mbps upgraded to 100mbps @RM99) i cannot resist. End up, TAK JADI LAGI move out from TM.

My mobile phones all using TM also (Unifi Mobile) as their package @RM59 is the best amongst all other networks. Lagi2 stuck to them. Haiya.

Unifi immediately call, maintain same price RM129 plan for 300mbps

i think think, ill stick to Unifi because i know Unifi 300mbps is Public Ip than CGNAT, and less hassle of swapping hardware/login id etc etc

For my working company, DG also gave Zyxel EX-3300, 2.4G & 5.0G are combined which is ok for me, firmware are latest.

Speed test result  here: ( tested on 06/04/2022 9.55AM) my working place was industrial area, always having high load usage, but for this performance, nothing to complain.

Just sharing my experience. Applied with Digi for the broadband. After communicated with them on Whatsapp, they initiated the transfer and requested me to go TM point to complete the transfer. While I was still hessitating to do the transfer or not as Unifi been stable, suddenly received a call from Unifi and they offered me RM129 for 300Mbps under stay with Digi Program.

at the point Digi request transfer ID.
Unifi immediately call back to counter offer.
Not from agent but directly from Unifi

They just mention go to TM and submit the transfer ID
Then just 1 day, when the Transfer iD process submmited .

We already anticipate this, as it is discussed over and over again in the forum. A tactic to make other provider looks inferior to their own Unifi service.
However some people may be lucky because TM capped their port speed slightly higher.

Well unfortunately to many, good offer by malaysian standard means good pricing, without factoring in performance. Some people switch not necessary because of the pricing, but usage experience that suits their need.
Digi's pricing is not that attractive either, unless you are on some of the postpaid plan.

And they gives 2 unit of china wifi 6 router not mesh.

I already got mesh wifi6 so I don't bother to use it

They have to pass the router to u, then only the whole process is complete.
The installer postpone 3 times. Reason no stock.
I file a complain to customer service immediate knock my door on the same day.
Cause I don't need their router

So far OK for me on Maxis Fibre, around 310Mbps for 300Mbps package.
