so meaning that u did not go to tm point at all during the 10 days period, and they called u to offer u 300Mbps at rm129?

how soon u receive the call after u receive the transfer request id from digi?

so unifi really do counter offer

last week i juz port out my unifi mobile (RM59) and unifi fibre (30mbps @ RM89) to Digi Postpaid (RM60) and Digi Fibre (300mbps @ RM115)...

during the transfer, got unifi dude call me to do some survey why port out... i juz said fibre price offer by unifi not so attractive, and unifi mobile line been sux especially 4G+ at my working place area... mayb thats why he no counter offer me ahaha

the porting out experience so far ok, unifi mobile port to digi postpaid all done within 24hrs, while unifi fibre to digi fibre within 1 week...use same port same fibre cable, juz change to digi provided router so internet down 1hr only for setup, but i use back my own router, terpaksa sendiri google to setup settings

i do speedtest while my wife watch netflix HDR on tv, my kid watch youtube kids on tab, the speed still can hit 300+mbps speed

i did notice tht if use desktop pc to do speed test, it only can hit around 250mbps speed, i think probably due to my wifi card antenna only 1x1 mimo, while speed test with samsung note10+, can get a constant 300+mbps probably due to 4x4 mimo in the phone

afaik they just switch to port 2/3 on the btu.. but then the offer price sounds good if you got postpaid digi.. thinking to switch to digi once my contract period ends as well
*
ya but dunno why mine kena set to port 4, the day during install took long time for the installer guy to find out why no connection coz he has been trying port 2 and 3 only

ya so far digi offer the best in terms of price, but not sure bout performance in long term, hopefully not so many macam² ahaha

There are also people who port out without any offer, same like your case. When I port out in Nov last year also no offer. My 100mbps can hit 99++mbps when speed test, consider OK lah. Maybe if upgrade 300mbps can get a bit more like yours.

owh as long the connection stable then ok la

i upgrade coz my wife sometimes complain she keep lagging and disconnect while playing her online game, mayb too many devices connect tht 30mbps cannot cope

mayb ahaha

previous with unifi fibre 2years never counter big issue like internet down... since digi is on TM infra, i think should be no problem

By right Tm technician should be there during the installation to check and make sure the line is in good condition. For my case they even replace the old Huawei BTU which I use since 2017.

ya got tm techinician checked my BTU, cable and unifi port condition before the Digi installer come to install router... i got ask if need to install new cable, he said in case in future internet down due to cable fault, they will install new one free of charge

No idea if existing users will get free upgrade or what.

hmm isnt tht getting a bit expensive?

currently on RM60 digi postpaid paired with digi fibre 300mbps @ RM115 for 24mths

if were digi postpaid RM90 and above, digi fibre 300mbps is only RM100 for 24mths

hopefully by end of my contract digi will come out a better package than this

edit:
juz noticed it said waived the first 6mths... well it is certainly cheaper as total compare my current package

price reduction instead of forced speed upgrade ohmy.gif

tbh I prefer this instead of forced upgrade

good news for RM60 digi postpaid subscriber, drop RM18 on fiber 300mbps plan

same here, still old rates 300mbps @ RM115/mth...

i go digi store ask if i can get the new rate 300mbps @ RM90/mth after all the rebates (this package available in sabah only), they said i have to call helpline as digi store only do new registration... so i call helpline, and seems like they treat this as downgrading if i want to get the new rate, and have to pay penalty for remaining months of my existing contract... and the helpline lady doesnt even aware there is package offered in sabah 300mbps @ RM90/mth, she thought i want to downgrade to 100mbps @ RM90/mth, and she even argue with me there is no such package 300mbps @ RM90/mth, until i told her to stay on the line while i google on the spot and read her the result list, then she paused for awhile and admit she saw the package in their system...

but still no luck, they still treat this as downgrading from my current package... have to wait till next year contract expired only can get the new rate...
