Just for info...
Anyway, its my whole personal feel on this. I tested the Onkyo 605 and as well as Denon 2307 I think the Denon is clearer in term of the sound produced. You feel more relaxed and not so cramped. The Okyo sound produced a bit messy. Anyway, the above tested on Mourdaunt Short speakers in 1 U, Hifi Shop. Also, tested Pro-Line or something speaker in CMY. Too noisy... too sharp... too irritating... somore more expensive. |

Price aside. CMY was promoting me the Harman Kardon amp. Accoding to him, it is bigger in amp output. Heck!!!...
But in term of outlook design, Onkyo looks best especially the black color one. How much is Denon 2307? |

for those of you who can read chinese, the Nov 07 issue 151 of PrimeAV magazine from taiwan have a detail reports on Denon 3808, Yamaha V1800, Onkyo SR805 and a press released of Marantz SR7002.
Very good read, in the issue also have the story behind HD DVD vs Blu Ray and the future development of LCD TV vs OLED TV (Sharp vs Sony) For only RM14 |

I would rather adopt 'wait and see' stance like ar188. Most probably by July (KLIAV 08), there are a numbers of new gen AVR to choose from and hopefully more on budget and mid-range
