Just got off the phone with CS, cos I noticed card was blocked (can't use). After confirming that I was trying to use the card on both Amazon JP and Rakuten, they called back to ask me if I had used it on a third transaction on a site I had not heard of before on a date I could've sworn I haven't done anything, they had to block the card and I'm getting a replacement..

They were gonna unblock after I confirmed the first 2 transactions, but after I was hesitant about the third online transaction (no money amount charged, a bit of a red flag), they had no choice but to block it and send replacement.

If only I had received some transaction notification...?

But yeah, better be safe than sorry. Just that now I gotta change payment method for the 2 legit transactions now. Cis.

My MC is being charged for AF. Got it on 2022...does it mean that AF is charged on the beginning of 4th year instead of end of 4th anniversary year?

Doesn't matter any bank, annual fee is always charged at the beginning of year. Normally you get 1st year free for most of credit cards. Affin is kind to waive for the first 3 years.

Received my newly renewed Affin Duo+ Mastercard after the old one expired and I didn't activate even the previous one...but not sure will kena SST and annual fee or not for this new one

It is new card and got it on mid 2022 and activate this year 1st quarter ss i want to soend 22x to prevent AF just in case.. Immediately after activated sst came in. And suddenly AF came in few mknths after..

weird, i am one of the first to apply also not yet expire

since i am not sure when this annual fee and sst will be charge to my master card, can i still get waive by spending 12x after this annual fee and charged to my acc. Or i must spend before they charged to my card?
