Digi always the better choice!
I still have prepaid no but the balance is stacking up as I reload every 2 months to keep the number alive. Does Digi allow the transfer of unused credits to other digi users? |

10 cent/10 kb is pretty standard..same with Maxis also. But if you want unlimited data with excellent rates...DIGI is definitely it.

Talking about changing your current 016 number to hotlink, it is possible when we have Mobile Number Portability (MNP) later this year. So you dont have to worry. before that, I hope you can go to maxis section in LYN forum to read some of the complains. As usual, most ppl will not satisfy for what there are having, not until they lost it. |

Today i get my DiGi 014 register at prepaid shop.. but donno when it will be activate.. I wanna activate the sim pack at DiGi sign shop, guess what the sales gurl said RM3 per register of digi prepaid... WhATtt??... i donno why they wanna RM3 for register...
Then i go to the shop that i buy the prepaid... she said.. the prepaid will activate about (at least)5 -6pm today but.. till now i just get "inactive SIM" on my K700i.. i wonder if this happen to new unregistered DiGi number... just have to wait untill they process the register i guess... Still i'm a bit disappointed when the DiGi shop wanna charge me RM3 for register.. soo i have to register to the normal shop that i buy... i think they are not a fast register shop... till now still "inactive SIM".. hehe.. have to SaBar and Wait.. to use Fu-YooOoh! P/S : is it normal for new DiGi prepaid user to encounter "inactive sim" before register the sim pack? .. Just Askin if anybody experience this before.. Hoping good experience with digi 014 simpack this year This post has been edited by alienatorz: May 2 2007, 06:36 PM |

QUOTE(LYR @ May 2 2007, 08:11 PM) it's because you havent activated your simcard using your phone. as i know, inactivate simcard cannot be used on SE phones. try activate the simcard first using Nokia or other brand phones. then only you put it back to your K700i. Yeah.. i use nokia 2600 (said register failed and don't display anything.. and using samsung A200 display ("Limited Services") maybe they dont process yet my registration form due to public holiday?... perhaps... but still untill now display inactive SIM... donno when is actually my number activate... waiting and still waitingThis post has been edited by alienatorz: May 2 2007, 09:34 PM |

i guess something is wrong wif ur activation... u said ur simpack is having a diff nos then ur inner simcard... why? haf it been tempered b4?
i've bought and activate a DiGi simpack for my colleague b4 and it can be done IMMEDIATELY! coz' tat phone shop took my details and key it in online and tada... i open it, put it into my hp... i can receive and make calls d... can say almost instantly... urs seems to have problem... else, if still problem persist... just buy another simpack... moreover, it don cost much nowadays... buy it and get it activate on the spot... hassle free... u won't need to wait and wait for so long... i'm sure ur card is a problematic one... get it check... call DiGi helpline to ask maybe? |

The worst part is, the sim pack has been opened before... And the sim has been swapped. Such a terrible shop.

Why not? He can reload as much and as many times as he wants but the maximum birthday bonus is RM150 (reload = RM300 or more). So after your friend transfers the RM100+50 to you, he is only entitled to another RM100 bonus. BTW, no need to use words like "manipulate"-lah...sounds a bit kiasu. The fact is, this is a win-win situation. You and your friend are making full use of the birthday bonus and DiGi is also happy. Customer reload = DiGi revenue. |

I activated a new postpaid account today and now find that my mobile doesn't display my phone number anymore (under phone status which shows phone model, battery level, memory usage, etc).
Is this normal for postpaid numbers? My prepaid numbers are displayed as usual (both DiGi and Hotlink). Can someone confirm, please? |

I think most SE phones have this standard feature. So far I've never had to manually set anything for "phone status". But if you know how to do this, please share.
I'm just wondering why prepaid numbers are being displayed but not the postpaid one. Anyone else with an SE phone and using DiGi postpaid? |

QUOTE(David83 @ Jun 1 2007, 07:08 AM) DiGi now got only ONE SIMPLE SMART PLAN. Both Fu-Yoh! and fnf plus also an add on package. If you sms a lot to other operator, then subscribe to Fu-Yoh!, each sms you will save 8¢, 10 smses you will save 80¢, 40 smses you will save RM3.20 and you only pay RM3 per month. You will definitely save you a lot of money if you send more than 2 smses per day. As for fnf plus, the only benefit you get is cheaper call rate to 2 non DiGi number like your office as they cant change their fixed line to DiGi. As others, buy them a DiGi prepaid as subscribing to fnf is FREE |

Hello People...Just got something to ask here...I was playing with my N70 and found out these Options in my Network -> access point setting..I want to know how much they charge for these 3 options and wht are the purpose of these..
I know about Digi GPRS and the rate is 10cent = 10kb right??? Becouse i installed Windows live messenger to my mobile..After that it ask me to choose the Access Point..so i choose Digi GPRS..Then i got a error saying Server locating failed or sumthing like that..Then i used DigiNet..In a few sec i got connected..Used it for like about 25mins++...Got charged RM0.60 only.. So i want to know what are the diff between these options and their charges...Tq.. 1.Digi GPRS (WAP 2.0) 2.Diginet 3.DigiStream |

Eh.. Another Symbian MSN messenger user. Yeah, I got to use DiGinet as my access point. I think DiGiwap is only for WAP protocols while DiGinet can be used for other protocols such as HTTP. Btw, it is really cheap. I tried to online 1 hour and chat a little on it, it's less than 1 buck!

guys...just wanna share this....
just now i got a sms from DiGi, n said "congratulations, anda telah memenangi Rm11,000. Sila hubungi pusat perkhidmatan pelanggan digi di 0062815...... (forgot the number) untuk maklumat lanjut. tertakluk kepada terma dan syarat" n i call that number, a chinese guy answered it n asked my maybank acc. so i wondering, its from digi, n why ask me to call foreign number(indonesia) n i called digi customer services and ask about this, they said its only scam n be carefull. they got a lots of report about this. if u really won anything from digi they will send sms using 2000 number instead of "DiGi" i thought i was so lucky today to receive 11k |

yeah... I'm kinda interested with this promotion as well... thinking of switching to postpaid from hotlink, and also changing to a new hp
So, can anyone tell me how's the plan works? What is the air time rebate and tenure mean? Too bad there is no further explanation on the web. |

Rm1 for 1 digi points. There will be promotion every month, even if u have sufficient points, u still have to be lucky enough to be selected as the winner is randomly picked. Phone model change every month, I've just redeemed a Motorola KRZR K1 last month |

QUOTE(Mooneyes @ Jun 28 2007, 12:51 PM) that is because west malaysia's cellular phone is nearing saturation point already. sabah/sarawak still very low penetration rate, so they are battling in sabah/sarawak now to win more customers.celcom is the natural incumbent in east malaysia, but looks like maxis and digi are gaining in these 2 states, at the expense of celcom. |

I think it's a new package la. You'll have to sign up for 2 yrs, either 100 or 125 per mth. and u can get a new Handphone. Air time to be deducted from the payment lo. got pros and cons.. for those who usually have high phone bills will probably own themselve a new HP

Somebody posted false call rate information on DiGi's wikipedia, which has since been removed. Check out the info in the History.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DiGi_Telecommunications The fella's IP is this: 219.95.176.30 And he/she removed links and info from the wiki as well. Low blow from competitors or just some random prank? Hmm... This post has been edited by SweetPuff: Jul 3 2007, 05:52 PM |

That's good to hear! Hope your line remains clear.
Hardware problem on their side...so I assume whatever they fixed will benefit all DiGi users, not just you, right? Guess I'll test this out by diverting calls to my DiGi line and see what happens. |

QUOTE(chyz66 @ Jul 8 2007, 12:33 PM) 7 cents/SMS! Saves me alot of money. I thought I'm the only one having the echo problem. Great to hear that it's rectified. I've also recently written to DiGi regarding on the mobileTV. They don't allow bookmarked links anymore and that made me to waste some money each time before I can view something which I have already subscribed for. DiGi replied that they will look into this issue and I haven't got any updates on it yet. |

DiGi postpaid new 1 Plan only charging 13sen/min flat rate to all networks in Malaysia with only RM70 committment fee.
Looks like other operator will need to counter this offer soon. The latest DiGi postpaid plan details is available on their website. Visit http://www.digi.com.my/whatshot/promotions...t1plan/index.do |

hey guys,
i noticed this new deal about subscribing with digi and getting a new samsung phone. I would like to know if there are any access fees apart from the airtime rebate that we need to pay? I understand that once we sign up with this promotion, we're under the premier plan. Any feedback? Is this promo worth the free phone tagged with it? My usual Airtime charges using Maxis is around RM120+. Not sure if i should switch to Digi and get the new phone as well. Any opinions? |

No lar. Cannot carry forward. It's considered burn if you don't use it. If you use more than RM70, then you will be charged accordingly.BTW, if I subscribe to this plan1, can I subscribe to the data plan at RM33? I saw this price at website but less details |

Just called digi customer consultants and really sad that they become stupid like their blue and red counterparts. Cant give me a direct answers and always ask me to wait and wait while they consult their supervisor. What kind of consultants? The conclusion is all of these guys are not adequately trained be it astro or maxis or now digi . Nearly burst my blood vessels .

Need to check abt Fuyoh.. change to Fuyoh, need monthly Rm3 fee charged?! Beside this.. does any advantage to consumer? (7 sen to all network & 1 sen sms??) Cannot change from postpaid to prepaid? I thought can? Coz even Maxis allow to do it.
As long you are out of their contract clause (usually 12months of minimum subscribtion), i think you can change to prepaid. Not sure though... |

I was like many of you seeking to know what's the difference of Chat Plus, Fuyoh, Powerpack and etc. So, I did some price study on the call rates and sms rates charged by digi prepaid. Just click on the link of my blog below. I hope this will help other confused users like me.

Chat Plus and Beyond are roughly the same right? Are there any significant differences except for instant lower flat call rate of 36cents/min?
Chat Plus The call rates: 36sen per minute flat. The SMS rates: 1sen (Friends and Family), 7sen (within DiGi's network), and 15sen (from DiGi network to other local networks). Beyond The call rates: 48sen per minute (usage below RM30), and 36sen per minute (usage above RM30). The SMS rates: 1 sen (Friends and Family), 7sen (within DiGi's network), and 15sen (from DiGi network to other local networks). How to get Chat Plus? Oh cool, they finally have a plan for the chat side. Plus this will counter all the recent ads by hotlink criticizing hotlink for the availability of one low(er) flat rate only after the 30 bucks usage.
I'm still on Fu-Yoh atm, since I msg much more than I call these days. Really useful when since loadsa ppl I msg are on other operators |

I don't think FnF+ is a plan but it's an extension or extra feature which is available on certain plans.

Need some help. I use RM60 a month and all my calls are made to only one DIGI number mostly at night before midnight, what's the best prepaid plan for me? I have Fu-Yoh but I'm confused about the 6 Family and Friends Plan.

Haha.
During I driving, I heard Digi advertisement. This Hotlink user complaining that the rate is so confusing. And he ask why outstation call is RM1.20, the CS say it is because it is old plan. That the customer got pissed off saying why can't Hotlink just make it all into 1 same plan and rate just like Digi. But the ending is end of close of the conversation. Digi didn't go on promoting saying they are 1 rate blah blah blah. |

QUOTE(alextee1881 @ Aug 8 2007, 09:44 PM) Is no more selling in market rite? But for existing user still can choose to stay with this plan huh? Existing users can choose to stay with this plan but if you compare the call rate with Chat Plus, it's better to switch to Chat Plus since it's call rate is lower (36 cents versus 48 cents with Automatic Rate Adjusting after RM 30 usage). |

ini macam...i heard about Chat Plus..
One thing maxis nvr introduce the automatic rate adjusting concept. Wonder is that bcoz of system limitation. Once upon the time, DiGi bang Hotlink kau kau with this new charging concept. |

Somehow, they're going to abandon this feature soon.
Since in Chat Plus, there's no more automatic rate adjustment thing. It still exists in beyond and the One Low Call Rate after RM 30 of usage. |

Wondering why Hotlink and Digi old plans are lousy than the new plan, and yet they auto change for users since new plan are much cheaper |

Its apply to hotlink as well.. Very strict in terms of the process for line terminated especially for prepaid.

Eh, question.. do you need to pay anything monthly to subscribe to either Fuyoh or Chat Plus? I'm using Fuyoh now, and it seems that I'm being deducted RM2.99 at the beginning of this month, based on the OCS.. weird. The transaction is called 'Monthly deduction'.

QUOTE(David83 @ Aug 10 2007, 08:54 PM) The same applied to their very first plan - DiGi Prepaid Plus. Should be no more for Digi Prepaid package now...now all activate the sim card direct is Chat plus already. Not sure if you can still get beyond plan SIM pack now.
