My family members eta for her Premium spec is tomorrow. SA told he give foc tint for darker (lower VLT) on top of foc tint from factory. Not really care for the tint warranty, if anything will replace it with other tint brand if it has any issue

You can change the steering wheel to sport if you want to to be heavier.

I've had the car for 3 weeks. Tried sport mode than adaptive later. Adaptive suits me better as it learns my style of driving. The steering does feel slightly heavy a bit.

Tried to switch off auto headlights, I prefer to on headlights at my discretion. But it seems to go back to auto at every start. Like auto on is default mode. Any suggestion to have it in off mode?

I guess we will have to wait for a software update in the future.

What annoys me the most right now is we can't change to IHU clock to 12-hour format.

Any X50 FL owner here care to share buying experience? How long is wait time from booking to delivery?

One SA told me can get within this month provided the loan is approved (any variant). Is this possible?

The reserve capacity of the battery, the higher the numbers the more storage it can keep and more amps for starting engine.
but each brand although the DIN number is the same the CCA which is the amps for starting the engine can differ alot

check each brand spec sheet to know the details

personally both my X series are using camel DIN65 red colour top. i find it the the cheapest reliable brand. easily lasts 24 mths without needing any replacement

I haven't changed my X50's original battery yet but it is now 24 months old.

My French D segment car is using Century SDFC DIN75.
The century battery can last 24 months, maybe slightly more.

I also have a Bosch C7 battery charger and I charge the car batteries around once every 2 to 3 months.

Anyone know if the infotainment system on the new X50 can be locked? i.e somewhat like a smartphone.

Its proving difficult to stop an inquisitive 5 year old who thinks that's a tab and wants to scroll and press everything on display biggrin.gif

As already mentioned higher the DIN the better. Also get higher CCA number.

Those facelift X50s better go for DIN 65. Lower Din batts on this model will run out fast. The reason is the auto head lights come on everytime the door is opened. The lights stay on for about 30 sec. As the alternator is not running at this time, the battery is depleting. If the door is opened a few times each day, for cleaning, for taking out objects, the battery will deplete soon.

This is a default mode and cannot be changed. Unfortunately there isin't a customer feedback chanel.
