Hi all, what is your opinion of waiting until Dec to buy the X50?
Will there be better offers at the end of the year?

QUOTE(contestchris @ Oct 16 2023, 03:15 PM) Still some guidance would be good. Proton SC quoting me RM459. https://carput.my/proton-x50-car-battery-price-size/Last time back in June they told me need to change urgently since SOH just 3% can get DIN62 |

Get a good car battery charger and charge your battery every 2 to 3 months. The battery will last longer. |

I have the X50 Premium.
There are 2 parking sensors at the front. I feel the range of the parking sensors are a bit short. Need the object to be somewhat near before the sensor starts beeping. Anyone else feels the same? |

My front left window suddenly cannot open. Press the button many times still cannot. Then decided to check the battery and saw that the voltage is below 12v Connected my Bosch C7 charger to the battery and proceeded to charge it. And also pulled out the power window fuse in the engine Bay Area for 30 seconds and plug it back it. After doing the above, the power window works again!! I let the Bosch charger to continue charging the battery until full. amscouzach57 liked this post

If fuel consumption is a concern, better don't drive SUV. Better look for hybrid car or diesel. SUV is heavy. Look for light weight cars. dogbert_chew liked this post

QUOTE(vinnyming @ Jul 9 2024, 12:05 PM) Does anyone else experience shuddering or shaking in their x50 while reversing up a slope? My X50 is the TGDI version, at home there's a slope to reverse park, whenever reversing on the slope, just lightly tapping the throttle the car shakes like it's struggling to reverse. If I tap it too much, then it's too fast, kinda scary. The slope is like....30-35 degree slanting? Are you using auto hold?Edit: This doesn't happen with my mom's city or another Bezza we have at home. Try disable auto hold. |

My experience is stopping at a T junction on a steep slope waiting for chance to turn right.Edit: This doesn't happen with my mom's city or another Bezza we have at home. The X50 did not move when I pressed the accelerator. Feels like the gear not engaged and moving backwards even though I am in D. Scary!!! Clutch slipping? Normal auto GB no issue. This DCT GB got this kind of issue. Haiz. This post has been edited by CoffeeDude: Aug 5 2024, 05:48 PM |

QUOTE(sinistersin @ Mar 9 2025, 11:44 AM) Hello, I want to ask do your cars frequently experience wheel spin when accelerating from standstill. Eg when quickly crossing a T junction or going up slopes at parking lots. Yes I have the same experience as well.My x50 seems to wheel spin a lot and the engine/transmission gives off an unpleasant sound when that happens I think it is because of the DCT gear box. DCT GB has some similar characteristics like manual GB. sinistersin liked this post

QUOTE(contestchris @ Oct 15 2025, 10:00 PM) Mine is Din62L Camel blue top. Has lated 2 years sharp. Proton SC said charge is 23% back in early August 2025 during service. Shall I just change? On Shopee can get for RM223 with voucher I haven't changed my X50's original battery yet but it is now 24 months old.My French D segment car is using Century SDFC DIN75. The century battery can last 24 months, maybe slightly more. I also have a Bosch C7 battery charger and I charge the car batteries around once every 2 to 3 months. |
