There is no cars in the market you will find the FC claim is as how daily usage is, that is just the best case scenario, a potential where it can achieve.

Be it Axia 21km/l claim the best I manage to squueze only 17.8km/l and sometimes even getting as low as 13km/l
*
Key is whether they overclaimed it.

For a 7.X figure like that of X70, it’s actually much more achievable (of course also easily screwed when the traffic jammed up) and doable in reality.

6.5 is about 15km/L, which is quite logical for highway cruising.

Please be careful to new buyers. If you are forced to buy the utility package, make sure they will install it when the car arrives. Luckily I found out the outlet didn't install for previous buyers, so I negotiated for my case. Really had to bargain and argue. For now I get a promise they'll install for me when the car is here. Fingers crossed. But damn ... Money hungry, sendiri first businesses really not worth to support. This is the last time I'm getting my car from them.

I'd rather missed the tax holiday than supporting that kind of businessman.

looks like you have not sit in a tinted car before
it is not only when you park that tinted is useful, when you are driving under the sun, with and without good tinted also can feel the difference.
can feel the flesh being burned
*
all my cars were/are tinted. my last one after 6 month untinted, so I know the difference. Normal untinted glass of windshield already protects you from all UVA and UVB. So even you don´t wear a shirt it is impossible to get a sunburn. You know that tinting is illegal in many countries? no ones flesh burned there.

A/C for me is one million more important than tinting.

If you're happy without it, yeah why not? back then 20 years ago people also drive their cars without tinting, that era even the glass does not even come with any UV protection and they still live till today.

It is the same question as to people ask why buy X50 while we can buy an Axia which also fetch 5 pax, it is a matter of comfort, good tint does really shield off significant amount of heat and it is not a gimnick, but if you can live without it, nobody can make you install one.

Out of curiousity mind to share what tint you use for the other cars and its price?

Not all windscreen protects from UVA and UVB, cheap cars don’t have this feature
For my car, tinted with 3M films, sit in my car feels ok, but when I sit in my friends car without tinted, really feel sunburn

such a shame. they have a winning product but yet they shoot themselves in the foot like this. they had the potential to actually blaze ahead of all the competition, local and no local alike. had potential to dominate the entire market in the 80k-110k category and become the de facto option for the masses, but they still pull stunts to make consumer have "but" in their minds. proton will forever be proton
*
This is NOT enforced by proton, but by the outlet which I am buying my car from is forcing their customers to buy. I actually booked with another outlet at the same time, but they did not force me to buy the utility package. so this is an optional upgrade by proton, but this rogue outlet forced all their customers to buy it.

Honestly, outlet or not the only instance of these issues happening in mass (in both past and current times) is only proton. It really doesn't matter if its a rogue outlet doing it because ultimately it still falls under the proton umbrella. Maybe proton HQ is the one forcing outlets and dealers to buy it, who knows.

But what we do know and can see as a consumer from outside is that you only see this happening with proton more often than not. Other brands do not have these issues

Quite true. Honda, Perodua, Nissan, Toyota etc. has their own upgrade packages. None of them forces their customer to get it when booking.

exactly. i am sure that all these other car companies knows this will happen thats why most of their upgrades are just cosmetic level like perodua's gear up, low risk and low cost of inventory so everyone can just close one eye on dealer and HQ end whoever is holding the stock.

Just took delivery of my X50 Premium and drove it quite a bit for the past 2 days.

First impressions:
1. Power is good - layman like me can't tell if its lacking from the FS.
2. Don't seem to hear any whistling wind noise even driving at 130 km/h
3. Automatic headlights are way too sensitive
4. Speakers suck
5. Been driving on highway on normal mode and the avg fuel consumption is 11L/100km

Sorry to differ, the SA dont force you to buy because in principle it is OPTIONAL, but when the car come, with the colour of your choice. Your SA will ask you "Your Red X50 available, but prebuilt with the optional kit, you want onot?, or else have to wait which i donno when."

Yes, my feedback from SA is now the X50 come with the kit prebuilt. How I know it is true, I ask them can I move the smarttag emitter to the side. They say cannot, it comes with the car now. All of them, at least for flagship.

The SA is pretty helpless in most thing in this X50 supply fiasco. They have no control of the variant/color/kit they receive.

Do I wanna fault Proton, a bit at least. But reality is too much demand at a time where parts is coming slow and less for assembly. But should we be pissed for forcing the kit to us, YES! Even for me who plan to get it.

I think in city drive is better to assume the FC according to the engine output not the capacity,
say to achieve 250nm of torque, we may need a 2.5L Engine, let's assume it sip as much fuel as the 2.5L engine while enjoying roadtax of 1.5L
so you don't get too disappointed with it.

Great power comes great responsibilities.

I think the msg is self explanatory... like I said, this is not by Proton but individual outlets, so expect each outlet to give different scenarios
