Pricing between 75-95k would be in the sweet spot. Those that doesn't want the bells and whistles can go for the lower end and those who want the canggih stuff can fork out another 20k which put just below the x70 base model.

Putting aside the cost of manufacturing and the tax structure of this car (which we don't know), if I were Proton, I would price my car as below judging from the different between the equipment provided.

Standard: 76K
Executive: 80K
Premium: 86K
Flagship: 95K

malaysia only 45% is local, so 55% of the parts subjected to excise duty and import tax.

Does that mean we won’t get 100% sales tax exemption ?

Because even for X70 CKD that costs 100K, sales tax is only 7K

sales tax is sales tax, don confuse with import tax and excise duty lol. CKD is 100% exemption, regardless of car company.

cos u need to see the sales tax calculation. cos this sales tax structure is not simple calculation bro. don think too much, just think ada discount can already.

This is possible. It would make sense since buyer can decide if he wants x50 premium or x70 standard. If flagship too high, Proton still need to educate people on why they should pay more for the ADAS 2.0.

Also, much cheaper can grab sales from new city and almera.

Turbo or hybrid, choose your poison. Maybe they will limit below 100k top spec x50 during 0 sst. Next year above 100k.

all of my SA told me the flagship model should be priced below 100k

for all model variant should be from 75k to 99k

I think proton is playing the marketing game with Honda & Nissan
all waiting for their competitor to release their price first only then they'll adjust their launch price

There's a sun shade covering the sunroof as per Geely Binyue and Geely Coolray. If it isn't enough, can opt to get the glass tinted to 100%

if the shade is piece of plastic like x70 then that one i think still can feel some heat radiated inside the car.

Yeah, I don't know why they had the sunroof option as probably I would say 9/10 people wouldn't use it. Don't know about the Philippines or China, but there's no market in Malaysia. They should already know from the x70 CKD. Rather they save the cost and pass down to consumers.

I won't be opening it either, just pull the shade away to let in more light during a cloudy day or at night. It does make the car feel more spacious. Philipinno reviewers did mention this.

I'm hoping the flagship parts comes from geely mostly, since it's almost the same as geely binyue (especially the ADAS). Honda civic has issues with it's front sensors..

Just a good tint for the sunroof and windscreen/window with good heat rejection.

So far, X70 aircond did a good job in cooling the cabin.

If you dont use/like it. It doesnt mean there's no market for sunroof in Malaysia.

If find it very nice to have panoramic sunroof while driving. I normally open the shade while driving and rear passenger will appreciate it as well ✌
