Pricing between 75-95k would be in the sweet spot. Those that doesn't want the bells and whistles can go for the lower end and those who want the canggih stuff can fork out another 20k which put just below the x70 base model.
Putting aside the cost of manufacturing and the tax structure of this car (which we don't know), if I were Proton, I would price my car as below judging from the different between the equipment provided.
Standard: 76K Executive: 80K Premium: 86K Flagship: 95K

QUOTE(EvanSoon @ Sep 18 2020, 03:46 PM) But the sunroof would be an extra maintenance. Like future leaking and so on. Its cool to open it I guess. Yeah, I don't know why they had the sunroof option as probably I would say 9/10 people wouldn't use it. Don't know about the Philippines or China, but there's no market in Malaysia. They should already know from the x70 CKD. Rather they save the cost and pass down to consumers.

QUOTE(naqib0307 @ Sep 18 2020, 08:08 PM) If you dont use/like it. It doesnt mean there's no market for sunroof in Malaysia. If find it very nice to have panoramic sunroof while driving. I normally open the shade while driving and rear passenger will appreciate it as well ✌ Then they should do it like the x70, those who want sunroof can take the variant with extra 3k. No one stopping you from getting it. The reason why they split the variant for x70 because majority of ppl didn’t want sunroof (word from proton SA, not myself).

QUOTE(Seng89 @ Nov 18 2021, 09:10 PM) Lucky and rajin find bro. Which dealer you went to bro? Mind to share? Thinking of getting one. QUOTE(chupapi_munyayo @ Nov 19 2021, 10:52 AM) now x50 need to wait until when my wife thinking trade in myvi (3 years car) change x50 because need bigger car when have kids x50 is definitely smaller in term legroom (width not sure), and boot is I think 330l which is only 50l bigger than the Myvi only. City/hatchback wins x50 in term of space and practicality but it's a total diff car altogether la. My first choice is HRV but not sure when it'll launch and. So now it's x50 or maybe go for the Kona 1.6 tebu.
