It seemed a bit on the high side.
Hopefully the final prices would be much lower |

If is 103k is really overkill. The binyue in China only cost around 11k rmb which is like 73k? Lol.
While I really like both x70 x50 , I really hope Proton remain the price competitive and provide us a bargain. After all we are one of the very first market being penetrated This post has been edited by TheSecRet: Sep 17 2020, 10:36 PM |

Lol. cheaper in china bcoz its cheaper to built there from the local parts & labour. While I really like both x70 x50 , I really hope Proton remain the price competitive and provide us a bargain. After all we are one of the very first market being penetrated but if compare to filipina .. staring price at 83k, premium at 92k & sports at 102k so i guest in here price is almost there too .. maybe just lower a bit |

QUOTE(bob @ Sep 18 2020, 08:26 AM) cheaper in china bcoz its cheaper to built there from the local parts & labour. But Philippines import the car directly while we assemble in Malaysia. Not all parts sourced from China too.but if compare to filipina .. staring price at 83k, premium at 92k & sports at 102k so i guest in here price is almost there too .. maybe just lower a bit Honestly I was hoping it would be 10k cheaper for the flagship. |

QUOTE(sonotme @ Sep 17 2020, 03:52 PM) Seems like 103K is fake news so I sincerely hope they don’t price it any higher than 100K because it just doesn’t make sense.Look at the rumored price range For each variant, it’s 10K gap between each other ! That is outrageous. |

QUOTE(vincent818 @ Sep 17 2020, 04:06 PM) if the flagship is 95k , mean proton is trying to kill ihis eldest son - x70 My father and friends have different view. If it’s pass 100K range, what is stopping me from getting X70 with just some minor tech features eliminated from X50 ?i can foreseen many x70 executive buyer will change their order to x50 flagship |

QUOTE(4WD_er @ Sep 17 2020, 04:07 PM) That's why I was saying if the Executive model is below RM80k, it makes a lot of sense for many ppl. Not everyone needs L2 autonomous driving and sun roof. Small SUV also no need 360 camera in the Premium. Yea I agree it actually values around 70-80K for Malaysian to buy a slightly advanced local car. Not more than that.Executive already has sync leather seats and reserve camera. 17" wheel is cheaper to maintain and more comfort. 1.5T with MPI on the lower end model makes more sense on longevity. 1.5T on longevity I’m not so sure if it makes any significant difference between MPI and direct. We will see in 3 years span |

Proton clarified it’s fake news, so are they telling us it’s gonna be higher than that or lower ? That’s the question they throw to us and keep us on the edge of the seat, OR keep you on your toes to brace for impact 😂While I really like both x70 x50 , I really hope Proton remain the price competitive and provide us a bargain.
