what do you guys think about HRV RS vs X50 flagship?

OTR price wise X50 is RM110k (after 'optional' add on) and HRV is around RM118k (only 8k difference)

X50's exterior, interior and ADAS are better but will Honda really command a better resale value? imo HRV has better looking brown full leather seats though

trying to decide which to get for my first car purchase sweat.gif

Yes, i’m not dare to use sport mode when turning into a small lorong.
so far didnt feel any vibration even low speed driving.
During normal mode, the handling is good and responsive, even did a sharp turn (not dare to say moose test here) to siam a reckless driver cut into my lane. Just my SA shocking.gif afterwards.

I did the same thing when a motor driver suddenly came out from a small lorong without noticing me, did a quick turn to avoid a collision. And realized that the SA was holding the "bar" beside the gear knob. Guess the bar is useful for the side passenger when shocked in road condition. tongue.gif

I wonder how come nobody pointed out that proton don't include x50 in their load calculator in their own website.
Kinda disappointed bcs I want to do some planning...

anyone intend to interchange their old car number to new car

is it get puspakom B5 for old car, then buy running number from mysikap? give to dealer for registration

Just sharing for anyone's who buying the X50 and is new to the DCT gear. Basically the gist is:

1. Don't shift to N when you stop at traffic light.
2. Don't take your foot off the brake when youre waiting at the traffic light..

Doing so might injure your clutch in the long run.

Get B2 for the old car. Once pass inspection, need to go JPJ to do thumbprint to transfer the old number to the new car.

B5 is for ownership transfer.

Another 30k? For some, it’s a lot too, not even counting the flat rate interest based on these 30k differences.
With this thinking, you might as well top up a bit goto mazda 3 from civic turbo.

Test drive both 1st, then only compare them.
