Went to test drive flagship today but the traffic was so jammed so couldn't really test much.

engine is quiet when accelerating and when in sport mode, the engine seems slightly "too" responsive for me. I think comfort mode will suit me more.

The 360 camera is really bad in quality but as long as it gets the job done I'm fine with it. Speakers quality not as bad as I expected since many complained about it, but the middle does sound a bit hollow.

The Trapo site said 50% recycled raw materials that include excess ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam for while the rest of the mat use virgin fibres. Back fix is like sharp tiny hair to grip the carpet. The boot mat don't have the tiny hair. Quite light to carry. But my car still at Proton manufacturing plant. Wait wait wait 2 months already, how long?

If you bought for Geely Binyue or Coolray, maybe you might need to flip both front car mat to use the back side for right hand drive. Ha ha ha

If you join the FB Group Proton X50 Community Malaysia (PX50CM), quite a number has gotten their cars.

Reading the defects make me losing hope on Proton QC .. rethinking if i should get x50.

I'm into my 7 months of waiting for the car. The worst thing is, the SA didn't bother to update me on the car status and when I asked certain matters, he didn't bother to reply.  This is the last Proton for me.

My loan was approved in November 2020.  Now expired & have to extend again.  It's sickening.

I'm also applying to another bank which offers lower HP rate compared to the earlier bank.

Android Auto and CarPlay used to be the priority for me. After more research and waiting over the years, it becomes less of a priority lol. There's always pairing issues here and there whenever an update is pushed out.

Just got my X50 this month and Android Auto is still not officially available in Malaysia. Maybe my next car many years from now, will have Android Auto OS, like the Polestar.

In the meantime, perhaps a  new car phone mount

for every service, 1k, 10k, etc... it is either time (month) OR mileage, whichever comes first
to be sure, call your Service Center
usually SC will call when your service is due (by month), if you skip or delay because mileage not reach yet, they will advice you to still come for the service so that you will not void the warranty

FYI, i did my 1k service at 900km mileage (end of dec 20)
my 10,000km mileage is due at end of June 21, due to MCO, my mileage only at 5800km now
i got my car early December 20 & didnt do any coating
however i do wash my car regularly every week & I put liquid wax every 2/3 washes depends on circumstances
if i see waterspots, i use waterspot remover
if there's any tree sap or bird poo, i quickly use spray type quik detailer to remove it

so far, so good, didnt have any regret
