Another 30k? For some, it’s a lot too, not even counting the flat rate interest based on these 30k differences.
With this thinking, you might as well top up a bit goto mazda 3 from civic turbo.

Test drive both 1st, then only compare them.

Agree, ends up top up to get Ferrari

Hi Proton,

How do we charge the key fob? and;
How to start the car when key fob is running low on power or no power.

I didn't check earlier with SA.

Anyone here know how?
Thanks.

Just sharing for anyone's who buying the X50 and is new to the DCT gear. Basically the gist is:

1. Don't shift to N when you stop at traffic light.
2. Don't take your foot off the brake when youre waiting at the traffic light..

Doing so might injure your clutch in the long run.

Guna jer la auto brake hold tu. The system will manage everything.

Most important dont do clutch slipping. Like when at hill. Dont press the throtle and let the clutch control ur car so it wont move backward. Either stop or move. Never do clutch slipping.

Keyfob most likely use replaceable battery (something like CR 2032)

Low keyfob battery, can place keyfob nearby sensor (read manual. In X70 it's in the center console cup holder). Keyfob will also have spare key to open driver side door.

And most importantly, do NOT CREEP during traffic jem.

Allow for some gap then only move your car by pressing the throttle gently.

Sayangi DCT anda.

Thanks, I found same info for X70.

However, just now I was surprised the review from this youtuber, the SA told him that inside the arm rest bottom compartment actually wireless charging for the key fob.

(start from 11:15 mins)
https://youtu.be/h1W39fZ_R1Y

I also noticed x50 key fob have a small flat rectangular button at the middle bottom.

My guess this is for withdrawal the physical key to open car door. Then place the low battery key fob inside the arm rest compartment to start the car.

what do you guys think about HRV RS vs X50 flagship?

OTR price wise X50 is RM110k (after 'optional' add on) and HRV is around RM118k (only 8k difference)

X50's exterior, interior and ADAS are better but will Honda really command a better resale value? imo HRV has better looking brown full leather seats though

trying to decide which to get for my first car purchase  sweat.gif

I daily a HRV and test driven the X50 twice alredy and i must say X50 drives better than the HRV. Comfort wise they are both on par i would say but handling and acceleration, X50 wins. Interior and features in my opinion, X50 is much better and gives you more for the price compared to HRV. ill take X50 any day without hesitation

while I agree with you points above, I think where HRV may be better is in its resale value, customer experience (buying & after sales), availability of parts, competency of service centers, long term use (build quality)

Just drive like normal la, Proton only what. If you wait for some gap, normally cars from other lanes will quickly fill it up by jumping over.
