Anybody had test drive MPI engine in Premium? How it compare to TGDI? Only able to test drive flagship, wonder how is the MPI engine performance.

Saw in youtube X70, possible to sideload apk after entered special code in the menu.

Hi fellow LYN future X50 owners!

I have just did a complete, indepth all you need to know video (in bahasa) regarding to x50 maintenance and future repairs.

In the video i highlighted this key points

- cost and parts specification that needs to be replaced during the interval service and estimation of full service cost for 5 years/100k

- compare some differences between the specification of parts between x50 and geely coolray

- cost for wear and tear item such as battery, tyres, timing belts and carbon cleaning

- most important!, Cost estimation for major parts and components (turbo, gearbox, sensors, etc2) which is not in the wear n tear list, which u might need to replace incase of an accident or if your warranty has finished or void, or even if you get fedup with the parts waiting time..

I hope this video will be very beneficial for upcoming new owners of this X50 and those who are still considering of getting one soon.

I've seen people installing the tri-colours DLR on the foglamp. They are cheaply available on taobao. Anyone knows how hard is it to DIY?

After update no longer works again. Proton has patched it stop ppl from sideloading app using that method.

Im choosing btwn standard and executive. All the feature that i need already found in standard and i dont think leather seat is a must to me. Shall i go for standard? Any showroom got display standard version?

Executive. 2 extra airbag for 5k, plus other additional is a better option.

I ended up getting the Executive because of the leather seats/steering wheel and 2 extra airbags. Also you’re limited to White, Silver, or Blue for Standard.
