I'm surprised you didn't find the display somewhat low resolution, especially the 360 degree camera.

Was there to look for a car for the elderly dad to make his pasar runs in the mornings and I can't quite say I'm impressed nor disappointed - it remains really good value but not something I'd wait six months for. I particularly dislike the red dashboard top, that's gonna be problematic when driving in the afternoons I suspect.

Not that Proton needs help selling more units but since there was no test drive slots available in the branch I was in earlier, it would be hard to sell flagships as the value of those ADAS features can only be noticed when you actually drive it? The average Joe won't even know what those do.

Finally, euuuw the tailgate option with the sun glare inserts... I think those are throwaway quality, and resemble those pasar madam blinds.

Oh yes i forgot to mention the camera is kind of bad quality. Feel like 360p to me. For the ADAS, you need to turn it on then you will see the blue line. The steering will auto adjust for you in order to keep inside the lane. However, when you want to switch lane while ADAS is on without turning on the signal light, the steering will turn back to the original lane. You still can switch lane by forcing the steering wheel. For weak girl need to be careful ya.

Just got call from PBank, they can only give me 2.36% for 9 years, D/P 30%.

So accompanied my friend to test both x50 and city. Hel already booked the city. As much as the x50 360 camera is fugly, the one on city (reverse n lane monitoring cam) is worse. Succeeded on memprotonkan my friend.

Can't believe coming out from proton car then went into honda car feel like a downgrade.

Now started to regret paying for the supposedly "optional" accessories

My girlfriend is driving the new City. Funny thing is the side camera is only on the left mirror.

But yes the reverse and side camera is quite pixelated. The Proton X50 does a better job with their cameras surprisingly.

EDIT: But honestly on the new City, Apple CarPlay is really effortless and smooth. Pretty sad that the X50 doesn’t have a better infotainment system for the price paid. Hoping that there’s an update in the future to support.

Yup..I owned an Iriz and changing to x50 soon..abit disappointed with the speaker..iriz speaker was superb
