I don’t understand Maybank, I have never been late for any payment. And my salary is well both the credit limit calculations, and they keep rejecting my new requested credit limit increase? Meanwhile other banks are giving me higher limits…like hello? I wanna use the card to purchase??

no need compare other banks on their CL offer

mbb is know for strict onboarding and even more stricter to give higher CL or waivers/rebates

just go to other banks and have better health instead.

I just called and they said it’s because I double submitted so they rejected the duplicated one. So now I wait for the other to be in ‘progress’.

no, just 500coin(rm5)
if 500 x 5 coin(rm25) which is 25% rebate...

Then the staff inside say might as well i just upgrade my card since i am just holding their gold card. It is much easier if compare to just request limit increase as said🤔

Ok then voila, a week later platinum card approved, then the credit limit is 4 times my previous limit😏

Oh!! Yeah but unfortunately my current card is tied to an instalment. They just approved my credit limit increase, just just a portion. 😒

I don't have maybank saving account, only using its shopee credit card

Do I need to download MAE app to use the secure2u to approve the transaction?

As normally they will sms the OTP to me to key and approve the transaction

In my experience up to 2 weeks ago, no.. I didn't need secure2u.

Only once I had to use it was when I changed the email address for statement delivery.

The article they are referring to is that effective 1st July (I think - may be wrong), there will be no more OTP for card based transactions, and will rely fully on using Secure2U (in MAE app).

meaning topup 500 in grab account using the maybank grab card already qualify for the cashback or need to spend all the 500 on store?

Where u applied from? Direct at Maybank or agent?

U dont have other bank CC? If no CC before its easier to apply from othet banks first. After using that for awhile then only apply Maybank

i got uob (5k) then recently got hsbc (10k), previously tried almost 5 times on maybank, keep reject me for no reason......

but i barely see any maybank booth at malls haha
