I applied direct from mbb. shopee card and grab card. separate application.

terminated them after receiving the card. unactivated. told CS card features not attractive. then CS proceeded to terminate the card.

early close penalty lo, for normally bank account will charge RM20 if close within 6 months

i think u r confused savings/current account with credit cards.

My Maybank Shopee Credit Card expired in March 2023 and Shopee barred from it to use for any payment. Updated the renew one still facing the same issue since expired and renew got the same credit card number. Shopee team already till now since early of April unable to solve it. They just told me need more time to investigate. No issue for other form payments eg other bank credit card in my Shopee app. Shopee really lousy since unable to solve this issue immediately.

try this

1) remove any old/new mbb shopee cc from shopee app.

2) wait for few days, or at least >24 hrs

3) try add new mbb shopee cc.

Now they investigate so better don't touch it. Else will try this method. Thanks.

Uhmmm Shopee does not have option to "update card" after expiry. U can only delete and add new card.

I dont have spayllater i dont suppose u have outstanding payment?

Of course I deleted and add new card. Not working at all. No outstanding whatsoever that link to Shopee.

owh, no wonder. i had similar issue with pbb card previously - today only i know the reason. escalated to shopee previously - shopee said investigating, try use other card. escalate to bnm - they say not their problem if gateway problem. in d end case close as pending investigation, try use other card. really hopeless.

I behtahan n try this method. Just deleted at 10pm yesterday night and try to purchase something with the renewed card at 6pm today morning and WORK.

MORAL of story, don't add the renewed card immediately after deleted. My case is add after "few hours" or "overnight" 😂. Shopee team no idea of this method too. Thanks cybpsuch.

Bye bye grab card. Calling up to the hotline to cancel this card and the process just too smooth, CS just bothered to ask what is the cancellation reason lol

Just cancelled mine too via phonecall. They just asked cancellation reason without any counteroffer.

Maybank shopee cc can use installments on shopee? I dont want to use spaylater le

maybank doesn't do counter offer or respond to cancellation threat like other banks.

I received my April statement liao, going to cancel this grab card as well.

Payment failed msg happened AGAIN when I trying to top up to ready for 5.5 sales. Shopee Credit Card team after one month still unable to solve it. Shopee SC said few of the MBB Shopee Credit Card users facing the same issue. They no idea why.
