As this list leak out, I can confirm to say you can see T× soon bz laying cable around.
*
Yes from learning the mistake previously of informing the public in advance, they woke TM up and made them expedite their rollout to those areas to get people to sign up before TNB Allo could complete their installation works.

This time, better learn from mistake. Keep the rollout plans secret!

What makes u guys think that Allo's competitors does not know about Allo's planning before this list even exists?

The moment Allo submit or received the approval to do their job, all the competitors will manage to dig out all the info they need. They don't need to wait for 'leaks' to happen.
That's the reason at TMN Pusing Baru & TMN Indah Mewah, TM has already start laying fiber cables in July this year.

Well you sounded like a sour competitor through unhappy about what I said previously. brows.gif

TNB isn't telling now which other cities they'll be expanding to recently they're going to give TM a big surprise.
Don't think you can beat a energy utility company in terms of cash flow. They have almost full monopoly of West Malaysia's electricity utility supply market It doesn't take much to bundle fiber optics which is cheap an abunadnt today to run along all their power grids.

I am a sour competitor? What are talking about? 🤦‍♂️
Dude, i my self have been waiting to subscribe Allo's CBB & have submit my name to the CBB agent even after TM have lay their fiber cable at my house row & open for subscription since last month.

TNB isn't telling publicly does not mean competitors are not aware about the plans. The don't wait for leaks, they'll hunt for the info. This is how competitors do their job.

What you said is correct. Every telco have to submit their application to local authority for approval before they can start work and it can be easily access by any isp. But a submission doesnt mean the plan cannot be cancel or amend. Like this list, Allo have finalize which particular Taman they want to pull the fiber. With this list, T× will have no problem to pinpoint the overlap of Allo area and add a few amount of Taman around it together.

From my observation, Allo only appoint 1 main-con to do all the pulling of fiber but T× appoint afew main-con to do the job at different area at the same time. During Allo pulling fiber at Menglembu (at Tmn Menglembu/Tmn Camy/Tmn HK), T× also do the same at this Taman and add Regrouping area (U) together & at the same time T× also laying cable at Bandar Lahat Baru.

Same goes to Taman Pasir Putih, Shatin Garden, Rose Garden all the way down Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah(Tiger Lane) until Ipoh Gardens.

Plenty of business to grab there.

Maybe less priority because many of the areas there already covered by Unifi for many years despite some of them still under old copper Streamyx infra.
*
juzmafia I assume the list is for contractor working schedule for next year.

I am sure TNB is going to test out on whole Ipoh to see how much % user going to subcribe for Allo HSBB and also how much Uxxfx user going to switch from Uxxfx to Allo.
From the list can also predict ( Taman Pasir Putih, Shatin Garden, Rose Garden all the way down Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah(Tiger Lane) until Ipoh Gardens. ) will also get Allo by next year.

I am sure the demand of Allo quote of % user subscribing them had increase and even many user request for HSBB during ( work at home ).

Candy12 btw , actually where is Allo centralize their main Server exchange location at Perak ?

It's already happening, This list basically just confirm my observation.

If you refer a couple post earlier where I had posted one of the FDC is actually located in Taman Ampang Indah. And that location was not announced before (only Taman Ampang). Tx had already setup their FDC and their cabling along with FDP in that Taman.

Same goes to Taman Ampang as well. When i complained to MCMC on this year March they projected that they will cover my area on Year end December. But suddenly they keep pushing it forward until End of October - Early November. Probably as a counter to Allo expansion. Meanwhile Allo still haven't got their fibers and FDC roll out. Only the poles at the moment.

Tx Promoter are aggressively promoting in Taman Ampang/Cempaka as well. I think I saw 3 in the span of 2 Weeks.

These containers are exchanges itself they're all remotely controlled directly from Allo's HQ at Cyberview Villas which is very close by NTT MSC around the area along with AMD's administrative office.

They'll need probably 2-3 more to cover the entire Ipoh city.

1)
Ipoh CBD and Old Town area which stretches upto the entire Jln Pasir Putih main road.
Huge capacity of ports are needed to cover this area.

2)
Then there's Chemor/Bercham/Tasek/Tg Rambutan/Tambun area. Too far away for the Lahat exchange to reach.

3)
Jelapang/Aman Jaya township is another suburb needs its own pool.

4)
Batu Gajah needs its own to cover Pusing.

Significant investment is needed. Ipoh area land and districts are actually quite wide.

Most pole is already setup in Pusing & Batu Gajah area. Today i went to PMU Papan and saw a few car there (maybe doing setup of data center). Survey Tmn Metro Pengkalan, found out only a few row of house will enjoy Allo. The others already on U××f×.

Ya correct, in TMN BG Transit they already install Fiber cable, FDP & FDC. Now waiting for main cable to FDC. Last i saw the contractor doing drilling work at the 4 way intersection on Monday.
What's weird is that they are really focusing on this BG Transit 1st.

Issit that area just behind AEON Station 18 Mall? Noticed just a few rows of house only covered. Behind there the flats and school area all already Unifi covered. But if strangely, the old housing gardens further up the TM exchange office there(behind the corner lot 7 Eleven) many housing gardens such as Taman Pasir Puteh, Taman Rasa Sayang and Taman Shatin all still have very spotty Unifi coverage. They just put a FDP to in between few lorongs to serve a few lanes there. Some are still stuck with very old copper infra, why TNB Allo why not coveraing that area?
