Maxis is also borrowing TNB Allo fiber line, if the line is down both ISP CBB or Maxis will also down. There no which is better because both is also using the same fiber line.

If you ask which price is much more better choice of course it is CBB.

They use same line (allo), but maxis has provided you another 4G maxis sim card to you for backup, when allo line down, you still can use maxis 4G.

Of course, maxis plan will higher than CBB cos include phone call and 4G sim cards

guys,yesterday got staff and lori at kampung rapat jaya,regat rapat jaya 3 road and i saw it got yellow,black colour fibre optic. ps:first time see fibre optic at pankalan!!!

Your taman already got Unifi serving the area? If got, almost unlikely Allo won't be coming.

The lucky ones are those probably don't have both yet then Allo decides to cover there who knows TM also kiasu end up you get double coverage by both companies.

No, as I know, maxis fibre will provide a 4G SIM card and 4G router
also (not for phone data plan) , that means only pay the maxis fibre plan

The reason why Maxis leased the unlimited 4G SIM and dongle for their own routers few months back was because of the MCO lockdown period. Back then the fibre installers were not able to visit the subscribers premises to install the lines so it was used as a temporary backup.

When the MCO ended, after the customer's premises have been installed with fibre they are required to return the dongle along with the unlimited Maxis SIM unless you're a MaxisONE Prime customer then you get to keep it.

That is Maxis Business Fibre, they'll provide a different router usually the Aminia MA131 which comes built in with a SIM slot.

Maxis standalone Home Fibre plans do not enjoy this backup option unless you're a MaxisONE Prime account.

My office is also using this Aminia router which also has a backup SIM but the mobile backup link is usually very weak because it will connect to Band 7 which operates at 2600MHz which has very weak indoor coverage.

Looks like Izhamsatria map was right. TM just installed this FDC at my taman and already start pulling the fibre to underground and expected to complete by the end of this month. But like always, they only put at certain houses first before fibrenize the whole place.

Yup, saw it. Not only Regrouping area (opposite Menglembu Police Station) but Tmn Arkid too. Saw T× subcon contruct the FDC base yesterday.

Just now around 4.20pm, i saw a few vehicle at PMU Jalan Gopeng but i dont see any converted shipping container there. Not sure Allo is using any existing building there.

What is the converted Shipping Container for? You mean for housing the central Fiber Equipment? (I don't know what's the right terminology, Exchange center?)

I believe i saw a Tender for TNB ALLO Seri Rapat. Maybe that's where they put their central fiber equipment

Isn't TMN Arkid already have TNB Allo, TX still can overlap?
