just in time as my unifi contract is about to end in this october, time to "upgrade" to cheaper plan with higher speed.

Unless tm can give better offer to me, really tired with their non standard pricing where some customer get to pay lower fee, while other need to pay higher or full price to get the same package.

Now they're even using high quality Nokia ONTs(fibre modem) around Ipoh CBD area for business premises around Jalan Pasir Putih.

Nokia bought over Alcatel Lucent Optical networking division few years back. Now all their products under Nokia brand name.

Google Fiber uses Nokia OLTs FYI.

For home users, TM still uses Huawei equipment widely.

TM kiasu they don't want to lose marketshare in that area that's why proceeding to expand their coverage there?

Earlier why Allo covered the area because neglected by them for years. So it's not TNB Allo's bad planning but TM who wants to take risk to retain customers in that area.

TNB Allo should from now adopt policy to expand their network to any nearby areas with high demand and request for their services and compete directly with TM HSBB even if it takes to overlap.

I already did mentioned that for healthy competition to take place there should be AT LEAST 2 competing fixed line fibre infra in each housing estate/area like in Thailand where they got over 5 fixed line providers that serve landed homes.

Isn't already too late, because most of the people in TMN Arkid now has already switch to TNB Allo. I think it is pointless to installed new fiber in that area or TX wanted to risk hoping that still got customer subscribe to their plan or change to their plan.

Oh regard my last post about billing they have settle my problem in 15/Sep/2020, that I paid at 1/Sep/2020. They sure take their time. If anyone wanna ask about billing don't worry about your billing for late deduct because it is take some times.🤣

Unless the residents there are stupid enough like me who wants to pay RM99 per month just to get 30Mbps internet when existing ISP is already selling RM89 for symmetrical 100M/100M plan.
