Well they called me to offer but it was quite bizarre.

The new package is not with CityBB/Allo though. It's with CelcomDIGI Fibre.
Package is 300Mbps DL / 50Mbps UL @ RM89(excluding tax) for 24 months. Reverts to RM129 beginning 25th month.

I asked why ALLO is not offering it, person mentioned that it was because ALLO was out of ports/bandwidth so they now have a partnership with CelcomDIGI.


UPDATE: I decided to not move forward with the offer. Already filled in the termination as per contract end date. Hopefully it goes smoothly.

Seems like allo in my area has experienced major downtime like 3rd time in past two week. Its also affected fiber riding on it like celcomdigi, maxis, astro fiber. Cyber11, cyberjaya

I'm actually using allo in Cyberjaya, but the ping for gaming is really shit. Any else encounter the same issue? 90ms with random packet loss 1-2%

Hostname/Domain for that game server?

Dota 2, steam server. Duno where it is routed to, maybe sg?

Not sure which one you selected. I'm getting 11ms to South East Asia server on Allo in Cyberjaya

my area is down too... i stay at bangsar south area there, quite near to TNB HQ. Been down for 2 days...
Allo has been down quite on and off... wonder what's happpening down there.

mine was
1st down more than 12 hours
2nd down like liess than 6 houes
3rd around half day. Its affect allo of course as well celcomdigi,maxis and astro fiber

It seems like their planned maintenance over the weekend encountered major issue afterwards although no SMS was sent out for the 2nd outage.

I guess it makes sense to use one label instead of separate labels based on location. Looks like their 300Mbps promo is back with a cheaper price. RM105 with tax.
