this is the latest edition of epbt double-shot abs, black gold (黑金), https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=629464287944

it's a mid-tier set imo; cherry profile; 153 keys, which supports 2u-left shift/1u-right shift; double-shot abs (hence with higher-pitch bottom-out sound); bottom thickness is 1.1mm.

edit: imo it's ok to have a thinner bottom wall thickness, as the top part of the caps is likely to have around 1.5mm. the typing feel is not much different from those with 1.5mm-thick walls. (there are differences, just not that obvious when you type)

WTF Corsair's keycap can melt so easily? Those buying corsair keyboard don't forget to bring it out from your car, else will melt with our super hot sunlight

Guys, I decided I have to quit this hobby unfortunately. And I have 2 keyboards to let go:

1. Durgod K320
2. Leopold FC980M

Feel free to PM me if interested to find out more.
I have a great time learning, not sure I will be back for more in future. Nevertheless Thank you .

Moratorium over....no money. Otherwise I'd be interested in one or even both.

Quick Q. Do you find the quality of both comparable? Or is the Leopold noticeably better than the Durgod?

Leopold win. But both of them having different switches, so I cant comment much. But Leopold has a more solid build body, and can definitely feel the sound dampening much better...can hear the "thuk" sound contain better within the case itself. Durgod isn't bad actually, but stock stabilizer probably will little work to improve on.

This post made me laugh so hard....and then made me depressed....I'm a fullsize fan myself.

104 key aka 100% aka fullsize custom kits are very rare. And like many custom kits, they are sold in Group Buys. Latest one that I know of was the Hex 6C earlier this month which is a southpaw 100% (numpad on left). It costs SGD420 for the kit and was sold out in 34 minutes. Delivery in March/April 2021. Add on the price of keycaps, stabilizers, and switches, you are looking at anything from RM1500 to RM2500.

If you forget about 'custom' and can be content with hotswap, you can try Tecware:

Probably possible to build a custom around rm300 bucks

i) handwire switches (about rm58 for 110 outemu white switches, diodes are dirt cheap)
ii) laser cut acrylic full size plate (less than rm100? from shopee sellers)

rest of the money goes into the controller..which I'm not aware of any off-the-shelf KB controllers with 21 IO off in a kit. maybe Frankenstein donutboard with a compatible MCU? laugh.gif

Hello typing enthusiasts, I'm finally looking to take the plunge into Topre switches, currently using the Romer-g based Logitech G810 and really like the feeling of it. The keyword here is "really like", not love. So I'm still in search for the perfect keyboard for me.

So far I have the pros and cons for the two keyboards I'm looking at, I'm open to suggestions btw!

Leopold FC980C
+Generally hear good things about Leopold and their build all over the internet
-Navigation keys (Ins, Del, Home, End, PgUp, PgDn) is absent
-Out of stock

Realforce R2
+Standard keyboard layout
+In stock right now
-Could be inferior feeling, sound and build compared to Leopold?

Will I be missing out a huge difference in experience from getting a Realforce over a Leopold? I could be wrong, this is just what I've observed based on searching around. Cheers!

Just built a XD87 HS board with Gat Milky Yellow. After lubing and stabs mod, I can never go back to pre-built boards anymore. Only problem is that the switches are north facing which can bring some issues with cherry profile keycaps

My IKBC F108 has been suffering key chattering on the 'O' key, based on google I would need to solder a new switch. Could you guys recommend me solder iron and solder (Never soldered) before, or alternative fix
