DEMONOID + DELUGE = GO!

Don't know if anyone else posted this exact way, but I fumbled it out of desperation.
The pic below explains everything.

Good one, I have been thinking of using a proxy for trackers that doesn't work with me, but have not found a tracker that doesn't work with me hehe. Should be good if I ever need demonoid.

well its alpha stage software rather than a beta or a full release so bugs are there...

looks like TMNET is getting very smart nowadays. i just found out i have a 1.5 mbps connection but my bit torrent has been running at 15k/s for the last 5 months.

should i consider downgrading it to 512 kbps instead? dont see much point of paying another 22 bucks.

So... It is wise to upgrade to Alpha 17? Or should I stick with Alpha 6 thats running fine for me.

Please guys download alpha 17 before talking crap about slow speed. If it crashes too much on you, hell I suggest you to go alpha 6 or alpha 7, they do not have this port dropping crap (however, the ports they choose are indeed random).

hmmm. deluge on ubuntu feisty fawn flies...the only odd thing i noticed is that the share ratio is outrageous! 289.1 ! and 107.455 !

the statistics info on downloaded and uploaded "verify" these incredible share ratios - 102.5 Gb (up) : 350.7Mb (down) ???

i'm so artificially "happy" but seriously...what's "wrong" with it?

The same happened to be, just that it is on windows. This is probably a bug as well, says here my ratio is 145 LOL, but there is no way I can upload 14.5 gigs in 3 days.

Anyway, I am trying out alpha 17 right now. If the port closing and opening still occurs, I am returning back to alpha 6 or alpha 7 (most probably alpha 6), even if I can't press the peers tab lol.

EDIT: Okay, tested. Looks like I am back to alpha 6.

EDIT2: ALPHA 18 IS OUT. Now someone be the sacrificial lamb (I guess that's me).

http://download.deluge-torrent.org/index.p...=windows/alpha/

EDIT3: Tried Alpha 18, port being turned off has still not been fixed. Btw, whoever is having that turned off thing is probably using a router. Not the router's fault, though. So I am back to alpha 6, too bad I lost the installer for alpha 7 sad.gif .

EDIT4: That ratio bug only happens to alpha 17 and above.

EDIT5: I am using alpha 8 instead of alpha 6 (I have the installer since I was about to test it before, but forgot to). It does not have that port closing bug, and it is FAST. Had it above 50 kB/s (yes my package is 512k, not going to upgrade if streamyx does not fix their crap, I want my online gaming, you under average service provider) all the time, on full stream encryption too.
