I just installed deluge and I'm very satisfied with the download speed. The only problem is, the program crashes way too often. I always get the Windows Error Report after running the software for about 5 minutes +. (After achieving 50+kbps). I understand the software is still in alpha stages and crashes are inevitable but anyone facing the problem managed to solve it? Help will be appreciated.

I tried limiting global connections, but it still didn't work.

No alternatives besides that? The error report is pissing me off man. Just 10 minutes into the program and the report comes out. I have no idea why this is happpening.

Problem solved. I was using alpha 13 which was prone to crashing. Later versions had this problem solved. Very satisfied with the performance of deluge now.

I have another question though. Is compact or full allocation better. What are the difference between both. And Full Stream Encryption is best is it?

So... It is wise to upgrade to Alpha 17? Or should I stick with Alpha 6 thats running fine for me.

Installed 0.5.6 and facing no problems with it now. Connects to peers faster and achieves higher speed compared to alpha 22 for me.

No restart or uninstall or deleting the deluge folder required for me when I tried to install. So far no C++ Run time error yet. Hopefully it wun appear.
